I think China will not rise based on any military doctrine. They are headed on a steady course to ecnonomically enslave other countries. US is on a course to loose economic acsendency. The west will counter through military means in the next few decades wherever possible as will Russia. it is becoming quite apparent. Pakistan is going to be taught a lesson by US in most probability and the end-game of that is not known but could very well change the geographical boundaries of Pakistan or definitely make Pakistan militarily less potent and much more well-behaved with a clear foreign policy doctrine. I also think US is going to force Pakistan into reconciliation with India in the future someday. They are building a whole block of south-asian allied countries alongside with them whether they have to do it by economic tempting or military brute force. What I see is a transition period in which there will be many polarizations i.e. of religous, military and ecnonomic nature after which we are headed towards a bipolar world in a couple of decades with economic interests at the center of each blocks policy.
