everyone just needs to realize that islam has nothing to do with culture…if you go to a mosque where there are predominantly pakis and you don’t wear shalwar kameez then its like you have committed a crime…i hate that attitude.

As to the topic, I couldn't care less who a muslim Pakistani woman marries as long as he's muslim. He can be black, white, desi, chinese whatever.

why do people care who someone else marries?? if they are happy or get divorced it doesnt really affect their lives, unless i guess your their parents... but seriously some relatives need to get a life!

Personally I feel that it should not matter to anybody who a pak woman marries, whether he is muslim or not , black,white or green, rich or poor.............
Girls who decide to marry out of the expected norm have probably made their judgment based upon their needs and desires and are likely to be at the age and have the responsiblity to look after themselves

haha man thats soo damn funny, why the hell do pakis care so much about skin color I dont know, werid as hell! Only in Pakistan would you find something called “fair and lovely”, where as elsewhere everyone wants to get a tan, werid people.

The Carribean Islands, practically every country in africa, from some parts of the middle East, all over the Indian Sub continent, and part of the far East the general concensus is that fairer people are better looking.
Europeans do not wish to look pasty or the colour of boiled fish, they look ill and unhealthy and therefore would prefer the more tanned look.
I could explain further but its off topic.

Far eastern countries carry similar complexes…I have seen many a asian ladies/women wearing hats, umbrellas, facial shields, gloves and what not so that they won’t get exposed to sun and become dark…

Man I dont know about you guys but I wear bronzer and I like my man tan. And for the one who mentioned Middle Easterns, most of them go tanning all the time. Its only the queers who like to look pale.

i like my tan/ bronzish color, whatever it is. but i think pakis n asians are the only ones who like being white, i think indians like it too..
but ive seen asian women come pick up thier kids, and they have a tanktop on than sleeve things the slide over theier arms, and a hat, and a sunglass visor thing that cover thier whole face.. my mom was the the dmv and saw a lady wearing it and the guy who works there gave her a huge lecture on how your not supposed to drive w/that thing on.
im not dissing people w/ lite skin, just the fact taht they want it so bad..
thats why my cousin gets rishtaas from random aunties!! they all want white gran kids!!

Well guys aren't really expected to be so fair skinned..the fair skin thing falls on the girl mostly, because they are supposd to be the "beautiful" ones....fair skin implies that the girl is a homely type..i.e, she doesn't go out and expose her skin to the sun (and the big bad world). Even in the west, a hundred yeras ago, fair skin meant that you were rich enough to not have to work outdoors..
