Has anyone gotten their hair done by Fero? I'm considering to use her for my makeup... but not sure how she is with hair/dupatta setting? I heard her mom does the hair and she does the makeup...?
N what about Amplified Soul or LeSonne?
Ive seen their work on models n they look great... but not sure how it translates onto real brides.... professional pictures make everyone look great but i've never seen a bride in real life by either so any feedback would b appreciated :)

I used Fero and LOVED what she did for me! Her make up was incredible, she gave me the exact look I was going for and it turned out better with her suggestions. She came to me and did my hair and setting too. She did a great job on the hair but I told her to do whatever she wanted, it's covered by the dupatta anyway so I only cared about the part at the front. Her setting could use a little work though, it's still pretty good, but the pinning is not as neat as I've seen on other brides - if you're making pleats with the dupatta for example.
My trial with Fero was wayyy better than some of my other trials, and she charges like $1-200 less.
Does LeSonne actually have full time MUA's? I think the main girl just does hair and setting, and contracts out the make up to girls like Fero, Wania, etc...
I've never tried Amplified Soul, but a lot of girls have posted very positive reviews in this thread.

A squared... did you get traditional looking makeup from her?
I want to look super traditional on the wedding but i'm not sure if she can pull it off... ive only seen one real bride by her with traditional n she didnt look tha tnice... but then again, the bride wanted barely any makeup... so that mightve been her preference
Did ur makeup stay for the whole night? Did u dance etc?
Did ur dupatta setting stay in place?
I'm just hesitating about Fero doing traditional makeup on me.... otherwise i think im for sure going to book her for the reception

You should go to Naila Tausif . She did my bridal makeup omg girls she did an awesome job .....I loved her makeup
Last week she did my cousin bridal makeup aswell OMG she looks vey pretty everybody loved her makeup ...She also did our party makeup and hair all three days she gave us totally different looks ........I'm so so so recommend everybody to NAILA TAUSIF. She is very talented man.

they never call me back and everytime i call (ive been dealing with one person there) and ask for that one person, they arent there but never return my call!!

yes shirley is so hard to get in touch with. I called her atleast 10-15 times before I gave up calling...then I e-mailed her and about 3 weeks after my e-mail she replied, by then I had decided I didn't want to get my make-up done by her anymore

^^ Did you end up finding anyone? I highly recommend Angell. Her customer service is amazingggggggggggg....you feel like you're her good friend and she makes you feel so calm and comfortable. And her makeup is excellent!!

madinahme - yeah. I've been emailing and i seem to be waiting for around 2 weeks for each response back. So frustrating!!
Rani - I didn't like Angell too much... i havent gotten makeup done by her but someone i kno did and the foundation looked cakey :S but she is a really nice person - great customer skills for sure

I've seen her do quite a few brides (and I have gotten party makeup done from her) and the foundation has always been flawlesssss. Sometimes it's best to get a trial done and see for yourself.

Wania's Bridals -- I was looking at their Facebook profile page and they have an excellent portfolio. HOWEVER, I've heard she Photoshops her pics, so the girls don't actually look that good :S
Regardless, Shirley's been tried and tested, and there are very few Shirley bride disasters. I personally don't think I'll be going with her, she's too expensive, plus I'm not a fan of her eye make-up. Amplified Soul Hair & Makeup look promising, and the girls are sweet too!

I'm getting my makeup done by Nasreen Rana, from missisauga. She did hair styling and makeup for Suhaag magazine, her style is more western though. I'm hoping for the best so lets see
