Anyone gone to Shirley's sister Maggie for makeup for seen any brides in person by her? What did you think? (By the time I made up mind to get Shirley for my mehndi was already booked. Have booked my reception makeup with her though) Apparently, Maggie charges as much as Shirley. I would have thought she'd be cheaper! Also, any experiences good or bad with Lesonne bridals? They're quoting me $325 for mehndi hair and makeup and $ 150 for bridal party (hair & makeup). Are they worth it?
SGC - not tried Zebi - do you know where she is located? I'd like to go with someone in Mississauga or at least close by ideally as the wedding is in the summer and I'm afraid the roads might be really busy that day and I don't want to be caught in traffic.
Rani - maybe I picked the wrong look for my face, I don't know. I went with the makeup she had done for the model in red she has on her website with some alteration. I ended up looking a lot worst with makeup than I do without. My fiance thought it was so bad, he wanted me to do my own makeup for wedding and not get a MUA. lol Not to dishearten u though - I would say go for a trial and see what you think!

Yup she charges the same. My eng party was a few weeks ago and whether I booked Shirley or Maggie it was the same price. Both are equally good, I had Shirley and Maggie did the makeup for my sister and friends and it was worth the price:) Hope that helped!

She travels so if you're in 'Sauga, I'm sure she'd come to you. Otherwise, she's based in Scarborough so you'd have to head to 401/Neilson for your trial.
I Think Pinky from Pinky's Bride is the best!!! She did an amazing job with my party make up and my bhabhi's bridal makeup.
Her prices were awesome too! I recommend her to everyone and am getting my own wedding makeup from her too!!

No, honestly she took a giant paintbrush and painted my face and at first it looked like yellow paint but I eventually it changed color according to my skin tone. Her makeup comes out beautiful in pictures and everyone said it looked very natural (although it doesnt feel like that when you are wearing it). Eyelashes are included and so is dupatta pinning if needed:). You will love her, shes extremely sweet and has years and years of experience.
My SIL also started her own MUA business. She does a lot of work with Asian woman magazine. I dont know her prices at all but if you want info let me know. She refused to do my wedding because she wanted to be stress free haha! Imagine all the money I could have saved!!!!
