Paki Bridal Make-up in Toronto

Re: paki bridal make-up in toronto?

Aray chill out. I was responding to a post you made:

And I responded by reposting a post i had made earlier. Then i saw your next post and i decied to respond to that instead and instead of flooding i edited my reply.

No I don’t have issues with you. Whatever happened happened, i’m over it, you should get over it too…
*

YOU’RE the one whose dragging this out again, since it happened, i haven’t bothered you once. And neither was I trying to trash you here

Re: paki bridal make-up in toronto?

I responded to her when she said she is not my zebi. And if you’re happy with someone work doesn’t mean everyone else will be to…especially when they havent seen their work at all.

teelo, i believe you saw my pictures along with everyone else in this very same thread…

but at the same time he or she would make sure the client looks good as i said earlier make people look white if they want to but whats the point of making them look like racoons?

^ as to that… no, sorry, you’re NOT getting what i’m saying… what i was saying was exactly what you are saying, that the makeup artist should do their best to make a client look but there is a limit and a very personal definition of “good” and ALL makeup artists should keep that in mind.

so first you say this:

  • A good makeup artist would always keep in mind that he knows more then the client, yes ofcourse you cannot force a look on to people did i say that though?

*then, you say this:
*but what is this that i see girls who are tan have so light foundation and look all chalky. Customer opinion and satisfaction should not be ignored! yes i agree to that…but charge so much and give them the pastry look they want is a BIG NO NO!

*so you don’t see the contradiction in that statement?? please
of course you’re suggesting a makeup artist should do whatever it takes to make their clients look good.
so according to you- what is a makeup artist supposed to do? tie down their client and put foundation and sparkles on them and make them look good according to the makeup artists’ taste??
did you ever consider that maybe they WANT to look really fair even if they’re not? or that they WANT really dark eyeliner all over instead of what you consider tasteful? its not your face, therefore its not your choice.

sorry you had such a bad experience with your hair but you really should be less easily wowed by big names, like tariq amin, and fancy locations… if somebody is good at what they do, they’re good at what they do. period. they dont need to charge a $1000 dollars to prove their worth because they prove it time and again with their clients.

you know, i’d really like to see your wedding makeup after all this talk. lets see what you consider “good”

  • No, you cannot be professional if you make someone look bad if they dont know the abc of makeup…everyone has their own opinions and everyone would like to look the way they want but thats why the beauticians do courses and learn the ways

*since we are discussing zebi, when did i say she hasn’t been to beauty school or learned the trade the professional way? thats an assumption you’re making so please see my point above about big names and bright lights.

*i am saying the one must play with the client and not just give them a bad look because they think its great!

*and thats exactly what im saying too- a makeup artist has to work with their clients but in the end, because its the clients face, you do what you can according to their requirements. you CANNOT force somebody into something they don’t want. and that is what you are suggesting.

anyway, now that i’ve repeated myself twice, i’m done

Re: paki bridal make-up in toronto?

God! you arent getting me either... and i dont feel like discussing this any more...if and when i do get the pictures i will tell you what i mean and that to in detail..
you are saying that i am saying what you are saying then why are we even arguing :S ... same opinions or the difference of opinions i stick to what i said :D

Re: paki bridal make-up in toronto?

^ sounds like a plan! :)

Re: paki bridal make-up in toronto?

Here you go glamorous, this is the best i could do

Lipstick was matte red..but i think she gave a bit of gold touch before then then covered it with red..it looks in some pictures..

Re: paki bridal make-up in toronto?

that kind of looks like the eye makeup i had, but i had green with touches of gold, not bronze... this is stunning though, and you're right, would look very fresh with a maroon outfit.

Re: paki bridal make-up in toronto?

It looks like makeup colors these days are more complementary than just matching it to the outfit. I think it looks nice that way. My sister in law had an orange and gold lengha with maroon border for a wedding dress and her eye makeup was mostly gold with touches of pink and black at the corners. it looked really nice and not matchy matchy
