I dunno- my SIL had two completely different looks for both days, and what she did for my cousin was entirely different from any bridal look I’ve seen- both hair and makeup. I think a lot depends on what the bride asks for and is open to. Maybe these brides wanted to play it safe and be typical. Nothing wrong with that but then you can’t complain you look like everyone else. But I’ve also said it before here and I do love Shobhana from Amplified Soul. She’s a master contourer and MUA and does hair very well too- But she’s definitely more contemporary.

I have booked Shobana for my wedding and I am hoping she does wonders while keeping it modern. From her pictures it does seem like she brings out the best features without it looking like we are wearing too much makeup, which is what I would like.
