Hey Bunnchi can't help themselves, after all Pakhtun guys are so god dang good looking ;- )
thanks humsa, let me know the dress code as well. ![]()
This is great, I mean, in Pakistan, the Great Islamic Nation only one thing is fed to the youngsters, and that is this statement right here:
"I'm Muslim first, Pakistani second, Pashtun third."
They don't care what part of Pakistan you're in whether it's Lahore, Mohenjo Daro, Harrappa, Islamabad; and they don't give a damn if you're 100% Punjabi,, you're gonna repeat that for the rest of your days until it's burned on your head.
It's funny how a lot of Punjabis say that they're "Pattan" or their mom or dad, or grandpa, or uncle, or thier friend's neighbor's daughter's second cousin's step mother's half brother's gold fish is Pattan so it makes them a Pattan and also makes thier "I'm Muslim first Pakistani second and Pashtun third" statement justified.
Keep saying it...we believe you. Hahahaha

Guess so man. No actually, everybody's a Pattan because of the post I made above. After all, it all works out doesn't it? The person is related to the goldfish.

Khushal Khan Khattak is a Khattak and since Khattaks are against Yousafzai and there were a number of fights between the two I don't think we can go by his poems.
Yes I can understand what you say in pakhto but whats the point in replying in pukhto? ... this thread is meant to be read by all!

Yea man. I bet you got some "Pakhtun-mon Cards" with famous Pashtuns from the various tribes on them; and based on a game you played earlier in which the Khoshal Khan Khattak Baba card had to face someone from the Yousoufzai Tribe card deck you say this.
Son, this ain't Pokemon and these people aren't all fun and games. Do some research first my friend.

Poey showam khor jaan, and as far as NWFP merging in with Afghanistan, I don’t know where that came from. It is a whole other discussion on its own.
PS. I know you are a Khor, read my post again :- )

Bro, just because she saw your sentence of "Pa meena staso wror" her excellent Pashto skills told her that wror=brother and hence that was referring to her! Oh my, those cousins of hers that are "from Wana" woulnd't be too happy with that... ;-)

btw, isn't that what your thread is all about, Pakistani interest rather then Muslim interest? Go ahead, eat your words back, spin them around, and then come back, I'll be ready.
Like I said, you made a grave mistake by starting this thread.

Sultan Suri, why do I get the feeling as if you are my very own?... :-)
Zindabad Suri Khana!

I agree. It is just not Punjabis but also urdu speakers and even some Sindhis. Maybe people are ashamed of who they are, or for some other reason, just about everyone and their grandmother is a "Pathan."
I think it's particularly true in the Hazara areas, where many claim to be Pakhtuns. Now I am not a judge of their identity, but it seems like they are niether Punjabi nor Pakhtun.
This is one sad thread, everyone in Pakistan is ready to divide themselves into this or that, if it isn't province then it is language or sect. I do not see anything wrong with having pride in your heritage, language etc as long as you do not look down on others. Being Pakistan, Muslim, and Pakhtun/Punjabi should not mean that you look down on others.
AziziQandahari, welcome aboard! That pic of Ahmad Shah Baba, is it going to be on the Afghani currency?

Thankyou for your welcome Mr. Rajput Fury.
Though I'm not too sure about what you've said [regarding the currency and Ahmad Shah Abdali's picture on there] I can say that his picture is everywhere around Afghanistan. :)

Just say your Grandma was Pattan. :) <_<]
Your welcome.
My apologies, I should have described further. I am actually looking for an image of Afghan currency. A good friend of mine is actually helping set up the Afghanistan Digital Library. When I saw that picture of Ahmad Shah Baba, it looked like it might be from a currency note. If you have any information on Afghan currency or have a website that shows the images of currency, please let me know, because it would be very helpful for my friend.
Hey azizi, u got a problem with people from Wana?
And you also got a problem with my Pashto skills? I told SS it was the comma that caused the confusion. So shut it :)

It's the same with some Hindko speakers from the Attock district, I think they might be ethnically the same, it annoys me how they clain to be Pathan.
What annoys me is when some people charta lare lare na zaanla da pukhtano sa rishta peida ke and think thats enough to make them 'qualify'.
Sa dona asaana khabara kho na da kana.
