I know there will be a lot of negatives, and I can think of a lot of those.
However just for this thread in virtual reality: Can we think of the positives that can be developed from a Union of India, Pakistan, Bangaldesh & Kashmir.
1) No more Kashmir Issue, it will be an Independant State.
2) No need to spend all the resources on defence and destruction.
3) When Kashmir becomes an Independant State, all the extremists will no longer have any rallying cry, so we get rid of terrorrism as we know it in the sub-continent.

At no time did the muslims put together Hindustan into one large Empire. Please check your history books (Sorry no madrassah ones please !!!). There were always a motley group of independent rulers who resisted the might of the mughal emperors and ruled their small fiefdoms. It was the Britisth who united the country as a whole.
The ESA did not cleverly take away anything from the Muslim Emperor. It just collapsed under its own weight. Years of decadence had ruined the mughals and needed just a small push ...

All comanding positions were in the hands of the accompanying Generals or were given to the rich Hindus.

RashGuy, Anjjan and Abhiman I understand your sentiments, however the question was revised lately so as to get the positive reactions, and some are listed above, can you add to those?

Well, I agree with SindSagar on the settlement of Kashmir. India must make the Kashmir valley its protectorate i.e. it will have its own flag, currency and foreign policy, but India will take care of its defence {from Pathans or any Kargil-type aggression from across the LoC}.
Then it wil be upto Pakistan to amend the AJK constitution to allow the formation of AJK and NA together as an independent protectorate. But before that, all non-Kashmiris and non-Shias, such as Pathans and Punjabis must migrate back to Pakistan.
Then Kashmir valley and the entity from across the LoC can form a new state.
Bangladesh fought for independence from Pakistan in 1971 so it will not make sense for them to join any other union again. India will also prefer to be independent.
^ That's not correct. Long before the Muslim invaders from Central Asia, India was a Hindu country (Vedic Age). Even the Indus Valley clivilzation had some Hindu connection.
This is not bragging in any way, but the facts are the Hindu religion predates Islam by thousands of years, with that much of a head start, it did not gain acceptance beyond South Asia, where as you can see the results of Islam not only bringing the West out of the dark ages, but spreading to the far East and Middle East and North Africa. If all these people were coerced then most would have reverted to their old faiths.
I am hopeful that if you approach Islam with an open mind, who knows miracles are in the hands of the Almighty. After all you hanging out on a Pakistani website does indicate your broad minded approach to life.
This is what the paki politicians have been saying since India got independence. Which country got divided. Look into your own backyard brother and see if Balochistan is still with Pakistan
sind sagar, is very much correct .hindiusim predates Islam and Christianity by milleniums, and yet, hindiusm didnt gain much promincnece then indian sub-continent and surrounding areas. I mean, hindiusm is the third biggest religion in the world, but they are all concentrated in india.
Christianity and Islam, have the highest amount of followers around the world(respectively). Both religions were not concentrated in middle east, but rather spread all around the world. Islam has spread too asfar as china and as far west as the balkans in europe and to as far south as africa. Same with Christianity, which is also spread all around the world(europe, americas, africa etc.)
Imo, most people didnt accept hinduism because it is a paganistic, animist type of religion. I mean, which religion in the world looks cow(a cattle) as sacred. Millions of cows are slaughtered every day all around the world, but if one was to do that in india, one can be thrown in jail!!!! or worse!!
And also because of the insane amount of social and class racism that is found in hinduism. All Abrahamic religons (Christianity, Islam, Judaism) treat everyone as an equal for the most part.

Brother I appreciate ur later part of ur comments. See I have approached Islam with open mind, and found it just another man made religion. The holy prophet was indeed the most genious and noble man to ever walk on earth. Holy Quran is indeed the best book on earth today, but failure of its laws proved that its not from ALLAH. Islam which gained enormous amount of success in its starting periods, proved to be a failed religion later on. Islam was supposed to prevail on the whole world, but it couldnt provide a good society in its own strongholds.
And finally the only country in the world formed in the name of Islam is Pakistan. So called Islamic Republic, U can see urself how far it has gone from the actual teachings of Islam. Can we term this as a seal on failure of Islam as a religion??? ur comments plz. And ur comments about haram practises that are going on in Pakistan legally...........ie devouring of interest.

Brother for ur kind information there is no concept of dawah or conversion in hinduism. I m a hindu, and my religion doesnt allows me to bash another religions so I will not, u are free to speak whatever u like coz ur religion allows it. As U have said that cast racism is found in hinduism… I would love to tell U that cast racism is a crime in Hindu India. Yes I admit that cast racism was practised among hindus but we have got rid of this evil act, thanks ALLAH for that.
Although I agree with U that Abrahamic religions treat everyone as equal, but I would like to give u some islamic examples on how much equality is practised among the believers. U can urself see that contrary of clear cut orders of ALLAH in holy quran, muslims have divided themselves in dozens of sect, more disgusting is that each sect claim to be real muslims and brand other sect as Kafir:) , and even more disgusting is that each sect is blood thirsty of ppls from other sect…as some self confessed modrate muslimah has expressed the desire to massacre some Quadiyanis in Pakistan, she is waiting the massacre of Quadiyanis to happen. Brother religion is like school, where we send our kids to learn and become good human beings. If u compare those biggest three religions, ie Islam, christianity and Hinduism…U will find that Islam has brought nothing but destruction among its own ppls, while Christianity and Hinduism has brought peace and brotherhood in the world, they have served humankind with so many achievements in science and medicine, while Islam is busy serving humankind by killing and cursing.

Even God has told us to not disrepect other religions, but many Muslims do, what does that mean? Does it mean that Islam allows people to disrespect other religions or is it that people are stupid and don’t follow their religion correctly?
It has become a crime due to ‘laws’ or due to form of government nowadays, abolishment of casts is not because ‘religion’ has evolved rather the society has evolved-out/grown-out/exited the religion of Hinduism… so the religion is same, just the society has changed.
Read the bold part again, there is difference between a law and its followers/believers. Law itself doesn’t have flaw but if a follower/citizen is not willing to follow then law just stays in books, similarly religion is now restricted to books you won’t find it in acts of its followers, so the blame is not on religion/law rather its followers/citizens, I hope you know the difference.
Someone is getting served by short-memory-syndrome. You should read history to get some idea of killings caused by followers of religions other than Islam.
