Go to the site and enter your team. If you have played the FC league here before, you can use the same username and password. If you are new to GupShup FC, you can register and enter your team.
Here are the suggested rules:
BASIC RULES
- Each Participant will have to pick 11 players (no restriction of country)
- Each team must have at least 2 batsman, at least 2 bowlers, 1 all rounder and 1 Wicket keeper
- You must select one player as your trump player.
- You can select teams for future games in advance and can change the team up to 1 hour before the start of the game.
- In case of tie winner will be the person who posted his team first. Posting date will be the date when you last changed your team.
- Decision made by moderator/organizer will be final.
- Scores and user rankings will be updated after the end of each day's play
- In case of injury, no one will be allowed to replace the player during the match.
- Teams **WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY COPIED FORWARD** form previous game to future games (if not entered by users)
BASIC POINTS SYSTEM
- Each run scored by a player will fetch 1 point.
- Each wicket taken by a player will fetch 20 points in ODI and 30 points in TEST.
- Each catch taken by a player (including keeper) will fetch 5 points.
- Each stumping done by a player will fetch 15 points.
- Each Run out by a player will fetch him 5 points (multiple players will get 5 points each)
- Each point scored by your trump player will be doubled.
BONUS POINTS SYSTEM
- Batsmen can earn 25 bonus points for each 100 runs scored (25 points for 100-199, 50 points for 200-299...)
- Keeper can earn 20 bonus points for dismissing 5 or more players (catch + stumps)
- Players can earn 40 bonus points for getting Man of the match award.
- Bowlers can earn 20 bonus points for each 4 wickets haul and 25 Points for each 5 wickets haul.
- **************** NEW RULES ***************
- **If any bowler's runs per over is less than or equal to 4.5, It will be subtracted from 10 and number will be added as bonus.** For example:
o Asif took 1 wicket for 30 runs in 10 overs, his RPO is 3.00 so his points will be: 20 (for wicket) + 7 (10-3rpo=7) = 27
If any bowler’s runs per over is greater than 4.5, It will be subtracted his points. For example:
o Sreesanth took 2 wickets for 60 runs in 10 overs, his RPO is 6 so his points will be: 40 (for wickets) - 6 (6 rpo) = 34
** If batsman’s strike rate is greater than or equal to 80, 10% of it will be added to his points. **For example
o Yuvraj made 113 runs with strike rate of 98, his points will be: 113 (points for runs) + 25 (points for century) + 9.8 (10 % of strike rate) = 147.8 (total points)
IF batsman’s strike rate is less than 50, 10% of the strike rate will be subtracted from 10 and remainder will be subtracted from his points. For example
o Tendulkar made 57 runs with strike rate of 35, his points will be: 57 (points for runs) - 7.5 (10-10% of strike rate = 10 - 3.5 = 7.5) = 49.50
