This match was there for the taking after knocking over the Aussie top order but going in with only three front line bowlers let them off the hook. The only thing Waqar did right all day was bowling a beamer at Symonds head and then telling him to f*** off when he complained.

Man that was terrible to watch.
Almost as bad as all of Afridi's overs put together, he sure better make up for it with his batting, although he'd have to get a double century in my eyes.
And how many bloody extras!!!!!!!!! even if pak get close to 300 which in my opinion is highly unlikely the difference may be the extras.

Yeayh i think they worked Australian Top order pretty well likes of Gilchrist, Hayden and MArtyn but they didnt give much importance to Symonds and had to pay dearly.

I think we are going to docked for 2 overs.
OK people, I guess all of us are disappointed. But lets keep our cool, and see where we went wrong.
I do not think bowling first was a bad decision considering the swing the bowlers were getting at the beginning. I think our biggest error was not taking the game to the Australians after the initial sucess. I think we should have kept attacking with Wasim and Shoaib and Waqar while the slow bowlers were bowling. Our best chance was to keep taking wickets without really worrying too much about the average.
A lotr depends on the openers now. However I think it is wrong to have Elahi at no 3. Either of Inzi, Younis or Yousuf should come at this crucial no.
Well lets keep our fingers crossed and hope for the best.

from the score card, it seems as initially pitch wasnt good for batting and now it is.... so dont under estimate long batting line of Pakistan.... Youhana can play an inning as this Symond guy played today.... and also Afridi's quick runs may help, Be Positive...and Pray also :) Dont forget, No Warn in Austrialian side today..... so still there is alot in match....

Good point Eatern, thier chief tormenter Warne is not playing. Hogg is umm an OK bowler but not as effective as warne. Harvey and Symonds will fill in as sixth bowler and these twenty overs are the key IFF (and thats a big IF) we can survive initial bursts without losing too many wickets. Preferrably None.
If only Afridi scores another 37 ball 100.....
