Wicket Keeping
I cant understand Waqar's strategy of playing FAISAL IQBAL (well or lets say both Faisal and Younus) and this is when even WASIM was out. He should have played Sami , Saqi, himself and Akhter as regular bowlers. Khair i know all we can do its talk :)
Still i'll bet on Pakistan for last match.

Now I wonder how we can win the world cup. I think we better hope PAK could atleast make it to semi finals or maybe quarter finals. But if PAK goes to Semi Final or Final I think that would be a BIIIIG achievment. With a nut head like Waqar who thinks he can win the matches by drawing em on the paper I doubt PAK will make it to Semi Final.
Now the only thing I am looking forward to is Waseem's 500 wickets anything more than that would be a bonus (PAK playing semi final or final) :)

It was a very bad day for PAkistan , nothing really went in our way. we lost wickets at the very wrong time. First akmal getting out followed by Razaq and then salim elahi after scoring handful of runs. Inzi and Yoyo consolidated but when a flury of innings was expected from Inzi after playing an anchor role he got out right away(talk about the timings).Younis khan I think played decent by rotating the strike but the last thing was needed another wicket but he was out as well by a intentioanl shot that carried to a wicket keeper unluckily. Faisal iqbal and Afridi getting out early totally changed the complexion of the game. Then Yousuf youhanna run out was the worst that could happen to Pakistan. Looking at the score card Akmal played nice, Saleem elahi did a good suporting role by hitting really good shots, then by Yousuf Youhanna and Inzi but we needed one big partneship that was lacking and unfortunately wickets started to fall at the wrong times.
Wasims absence was greatly felt. Waqar was very very unlucky when a clear plumb was denied by the SA umpire, not to take anything from SA for their brilliant performance , it was obvious kirsten being favoured by the Umpire.Everyone in SA wanted Gary kirsten to perform well. Except for one, all of the commentators were goo goo gaah gaah over him. The guy was plumb when he was at 0 and then he was dropped by shoaib at 30. Razzaq had a great LBW shout but it was turned down because it was a NO BALL given by the same SA Umpire . I was really looking forward too see his footing if he actually crossed the line or not and surprisingly they didnt show it!. The no ball was called right after the appeal.
Again I'm not making any excuses for our dismissal performace but I sicnerely think Kirsten was favoured!and the game could have been closer.
Aamir sohail was right on the money when he said Saeed is badly needed because Akmal and Saleem elahi arent very reliable. Along with Inzi and Yousuf only Saeed can carry out the innnings.He was totally favouring Saeed Anwar.World cup is around the corner and still Pakistani team is shuffling with openers!
He also mentioned that he doesnt consider Shahid AFridi as a batsman in SA pitches but regard him as a bowler! Afridis shot selction is very poor and he is a good hitter only when the ball comes to his bat but that won't be the case in SA pitches!
Is there anyone else besides me think that waqar can be a allrounder ;) boy his batting technique looks really impressive. He just really needs to polish his batting and practice as much as he can!
