NZ continues and i think its a good thing for Pakistan that they are not facing the new ball early in the morning. Pakistan should be aggressive while doing batting so Baz can take defensive field else he will take attacking field. Now its time to send Sarfraz up in the order. You can't draw the match by just blocking the ball.
Misbah and management must be regretted for the inclusion of Talha.

it was dangerous wicket when we were batting... now all of the sudden it is batsman's paradise... and wait it takes out all the demons and devils once pakistan comes back to bat
Only attacking batsmen scoring on this pitch like NZ. All of the Pakistani batsmen took unnecessary pressure except Hafeez.

i think NZ will declare when they get 350 run lead at around 700 run mark. i dunno if they will wait for Craig's century but that will be losing valuable time.
they should declare in 20 min so they get an hour for Pakistan to bat before lunch.

Zulfiqar is duplicate of Danish Kanreia who was also very expensive and lost his line against attacking batsmen. I hope Imran Khan was able to give some break through but overconfident Misbah and management paying the price now. Too much experiment in test.

Pakistan should avoid leaking runs, its 9th wicket partnership but they are playing like top order batsmen.

I don't have any hope in ODI series as NZ is very strong in ODI, they have crushed strong India in ODIs with 4-0.

Mohammad Hafeez to Sodhi, no run, is that a missed stumping? Is that a catch? Whatever it was, it was a chance and so Pakistan go for a review. Beautiful delivery that pitched on a good length and went away with the angle. Sodhi was slogging away and misses. He was still outside the crease, and was trying top plonk his bat back in so could have been stumped, possibly. And the ball didn't miss off stump by much either. But Sarfraz was too busy with a caught behind appeal and was the first to call for a review. There isn't any clear evidence about an outside edge. So it stays with umpire's call

Sarfaraz is so unprofessional not to stump him. strange! he should have stumped first then appeal for the catch. so basic in cricket yet he didn't do/know it.
