I agree with you on thats. I think he should have tried other bowlers like Fawad Alam and Shoaib Malik. Well, we all knew he was not an aggressive captain but if someone else was made the captain that he would have been upset because he is the senior most batsman in the side so by Paki way, he should be captain by default. Sad, but Paki egos are so big unfortunately.

Well, damaad Farhat dropped 3 catches in the slip. Lets see in which over does he give the Kiwis slip catching practise when he comes out to bat himself. We know its gonna happen, just dont know which of the first 10 overs.

Yousuf is not a captain material. Hopefully drama queen Younis will comeback soon as a captain especially in test matches. Yousuf was on defense from ball one, never tried to push for wickets or try something different. Poor captain. And I though Inzi was a so laid back.

BTW even INZI tried more stuff than yousuf - it almost seems he is certain he is only captain for this tour and will be removed as soon as it is over - there is no excitement from him to lead from the front -

Don't agree. If the catches had not been dropped NZ would not have gone beyond 250. So balme is not with yousef.

^^ Captain should immediately adjust the slip field position once he sees the blunders - so it is a lack of action that is being criticized....Yes they could have been caught and they could have been restricted to 250 or thereabouts - but that could all have happened out of destiny with no part from the captaincy involved....

Well that part I somewhat agree with - younis has shown that even though he appears relaxed, he actually is a case of "pent up anxiety" and he can't handle the stress positively - so its better that he plays as a middle order batsmen in test as well as all forms of the game for a few years - but the dilemma is that if MoYo doesn't click then who is next? - Anyone else is too inexperienced - Can Afridi quit his test retirement?- :D

Look at our top 6 order. Except Younis & M. Yusuf no one is guaranteed a place in test side. So you cant make them captain, then not Akaml for sure. Who is left? Mo. Aamir would be the choice but he is 17. Charsi Asif is out for sure from captaincy and then Gulli is not 100% sure in the test team.

This is good for Pakistan that NZ didnt declare overnight. I am quite surprised by that move, since we lost more than half day's play yesterday and no recognized batsman at the crease for NZ. I guess they are being aggressive but if it rains again later in this test that this decision will not look smart.

that was a pathetic shot from manzoor. He is neither test nor ODI material.
Is anyone else looking at the techniques on Manzoor and Alam? Good God. How can any selector select these guys as test openers or number 3 batters??
Geez. This just goes to show that the selectors are as stupid as the PCB Management in Pakistan.
Someone like Manzoor and Alam standing way outside the stumps and moving all over the crease should be playing domestic cricket not international test cricket...
And we wonder why our batting sucks. Geez.
