Farhat Saga continues :)
I bet, when Pakistan start to bat, tomorrow. this wicket would turn into bowlers paradise, and NZs fielders will take all the catches, they will make difficult catches look easy...
If his first 8 overs, he gave away only 1 run, had 7 maiden overs. Something went wrong later on, I don't know whether his bowling end was changed or something else that degraded his bowling.
^^ kiya baat heay aap buhat fikar mand horahay hain....:D
Two similar appeals, two different decisions, but same end results. That's how the new Umpire Decision Review System's first day in Test cricket went. In the 41st over of New Zealand's innings, Mohammad Asif bowled an offcutter to Ross Taylor and the appeal was turned down by Billy Doctrove. Pakistan asked for a review, and the replay showed Taylor was hit just outside the line. Another appeal from Asif - the offcutter hit Brendon McCullum's pads - in the last over of the day got a positive response from Simon Taufel. This time the batsman didn't agree with the umpire, and replays against suggested he was hit just outside the line of off stump, and the decision was overturned. (cricinfo)
Mohammad Asif to McCullum, FOUR, Edged and wide of second slip! Very tough for Umar Akmal, good delivery shaping away and McCullum had to chase that, a third slip would have taken that
