aaah … I am so happy that finally Pakistan FULL pace battery is playing a game … remind of me Akram, Waqar and Aaqib. Although current 3 are by no mean equal to Wasim and Waqar but they are young and should learn over time ! :k:

Mohammad Asif to Fulton, OUT, What can you do to that delivery? Pitching on a good length on the off stump and holding it’s line. Fulton is caught napping as he is playing for the away movement. He gets a faint inside-edge onto his pads and gets deflected onto the stumps. Soft dismissal that

Mohammad Asif to Vettori, 1 run, Dropped Farhat again! Asif gets it to move away off the seam, squares up Vettori and it induces a thick outside edge, Farhat fails to cup it low at first slip, he ought to have dived forward

Mohammad Asif to McCullum, no run, we have a review to round off the day, the ball lands just outside the line of the off stump, bends back in and clips the top flap of the front pad, McCullum was outside his crease at the point of contact and that had Asif excited, Taufel gives him out and McCullum challenges it, replays show that that he was hit just outside the line of the off stump

Both Butt & Farhat are alike with the bat and fielding. 2 dropped catches from Farhat. I dont know why MoYo kept him in the slips.

I'm starting to doubt Gul's place in test matches. Apart from his first spell, he was pretty ordinary. But then again if fielders keep dropping catches what can a bowler do.

Aamir was really really impressive. I mean at the age of 17 (or is he 19?) he looked like the most experienced bowler. Ajmal wasn’t bad either, seems to have better control than Kaneria. Not sure if he can bowl 60 over on the trot like Kaneria though

Just saw the replays of Farhat’s dropped catches.
Farhat ko tau konay main lejakar theek karna chaheeyay - scare the bejeebers out of him so either he stops dropping these or pretends to be sick so he is forced to sit out of the field and some one better can take his field position.

If his first 8 overs, he gave away only 1 run, had 7 maiden overs. Something went wrong later on, I don’t know whether his bowling end was changed or something else that degraded his bowling.
