skhan: It might be very difficult to win the match from here, but remember, this is also what many people said when Irfan Pathan got a hattrick against us earlier this year.

More than that, it certainly is possible to ‘save’ the match even if we lose this innings. Be positive, and support the team (all you guys). We have Razzaq, and we have Akmal, and they know how to save a match or two

Definitely the match can be saved, but win is off the cards. There is a difference between being 3 down first innings first day, and 3 down with a deficit of 500+ runs.

Butt played a poor shot. He was selective until then and paid the price.

Faisal got a jaffa from Harmison, not his fault. Wonderful catch though.

It's only the last session of the second day s-babe. Wait and see dear, wait and see! This is what test match cricket is all about. This is why Cricket purists love the Test match, it has ups and it has downs, and you get plenty of chances to recover even after you stumble.

It's a 5 day game.

I said this before the series started and will say again Butt should never have been selected for the English tour. He just cannot handle the swinging delivery outside the off stump and it is oging to be a long and hard summer for him.

I have been saying this since Indian tour. The guy was one century hit wonder the best. He has a major problem with his nerves for the lucrative outgoing deliveries. This is the worst problem an opener can have, where the new ball does all the dancing. Butt is exposed, I bet even Bangladeshi bowlers will get him out in the same fashion.

khair, I knew this will happen (actually I was expecting England to post 450 before the match started but Kenaria struck a little later). I was surprised and sar khujaaying by reading comments by different writers and players that Pakistan has a better batting lineup or we are favourites. I just can’t get some jokes made on a high level

Harmison is doing what Shoaib did when England came to Pak. He is setting an example of a lone soldier winning the war when the whole battalion is down. :k: I hope England will win with an innings or atleast 180+ runs. They need a win after a long time, and we need eye opener.
