Pak V England - First test Match

Re: Pak V England - First test Match

i am so pissed i could have seen it with my eyes closed. Taufal needs to stop squinting like a chinese bitcch

Re: Pak V England - First test Match

Is he not scratching his beard?

Re: Pak V England - First test Match

I think score of 500+ seems a very strong possibility - unless something dramatic happens and that also doesn't seem like it at the moment especially the way Pakistan is bowling.

Re: Pak V England - First test Match

another close lbw shout turned down…this time to Razzaq

Re: Pak V England - First test Match

i m so happy that waqar is our bowling coach. Not because of his contribution to our bowling attack BUT because i dont have to listen to his commentary. i hated his end of day interview yesterday. "we tried… BUT at the end of the day you can do so much BhUT we need to try BUT things some times BUT turn out differently BUT…

Re: Pak V England - First test Match

150 for collingwood…great knock buddy after being out at least 3 times

Re: Pak V England - First test Match

BUT good effort

Re: Pak V England - First test Match

The proposal to allow three referrals was rejected with a 6-5 (or 5-4) vote I think. Inzi and PCB can see from this match's experience how ill-advised Pakistan's vote to reject it was.

Now they won't consider this proposal until their annual meeting next year, AFTER the world cup. We had a wonderful opportunity to fix the umpiring problem before the worldcup, now ruined thanks to PCB and other like minded boards. I think one reason PCB voted against was the presence of two Pakistani umpires on the elite panel. I am sure our umpires overwhelming opposed this proposal, but we sholdn't even have taken their input. Umpires are there for the game, and not the game to serve the umpires. Asses!

Re: Pak V England - First test Match

Collingwood probably buy a Simon Taufel couple of drinks at the end of the days play - for his help in getting 150.

Re: Pak V England - First test Match

ramiz the master of the bleedingly obvious , yet again. He reckons "Pakistan wanted some wickets with the new ball but it seems that the things have not gone according to the plan"

OH REALLY?

Re: Pak V England - First test Match

anyhoo... good to see some teamwork there in the field. Running in pairs. Thats what we need more of.

Re: Pak V England - First test Match

Looks like somebody finally gave Gamma a link!

Re: Pak V England - First test Match

nigga i bought my link ;)

Re: Pak V England - First test Match

i want to see afridi bowl the faster one..

Re: Pak V England - First test Match

interestingly, 4 of Collingwoods's 5 highest test scores have come against Pakistan...goes to show the lack of homework applied by the Pakistani bowlers or maybe Inzamam?

Re: Pak V England - First test Match

^ its an anomaly. Collingwood's been lucky and our fielding is slightly better than the bangladeshi blind school children team

Re: Pak V England - First test Match

Re: Pak V England - First test Match

Lack of homework? And how do you know that Mr. I know everything sitting in my lounge?

Dravid scores a lot of runs against every opposition and is very hard to get out. Is it because teams don't work on him? Planning is not a 'magic wand' that will help us instantly get a batsman out. It needs to be executed, and you do realize we are without our main bowlers who can work on a plan, right?

Need more? Perhaps Collingwood has better runs against Pakistan because he is a new player (debuted in 2003/4), has only played 11 test matches, and HAS ONLY PLAYED AGAINST 3 teams so far. Did you get it, YOU SAMPLE SIZE consists of 3 teams, with 11 matches in total against them. If you have to bash someone based on stats, know that your sample size is not large enough to support your statements.

Here's his record:

-------------------------------------------------------
**Team: Matches Average**
-------------------------------------------------------
overall 11 37.00
-------------------------------------------------------
v Australia 1 8.50
**v India 3 68.00**
v Pakistan 2 47.25
v Sri Lanka 5 25.00

He has played ONLY 11 matches, and has highest average against Indians. He has lowest average against Australians, but he ONLY FREAKING PLAYED ONE match against them. He played his most matches against Sri Lanka, and has an average of 25, because of 'team situations', and wait-for-it: Muralitharan.

Please be positive in your statements. It's good to say that we need to work harder on getting him out in our future games (by the way, we did get him out), but there's no reason to sensationalize matters by 'claiming' that INzi and Woolmer didn't do any planning. Like Inzi and Woolmer would let you in to even sweep the room when they were planning.

Re: Pak V England - First test Match

I think 600 looks a strong possibility now - the way the are going plus with the help of fielding, bowling and captaincy it won't be long before they reach this score.

Its lunch and another great session for England. I wonder what the lunch team talk will focus on. However what ever may be discussed - dopey Inzi will either forget about it or do his own thing once he gets on the field.
