Misbah-ul-Haq and Younis Khan have 11 century partnerships together, the most by a Pakistan pair © AFP**

3 Number of Pakistan batsmen who have scored 8000-plus Test runs. Younis became the third, after Javed Miandad and Inzamam-ul-Haq. In all, 28 batsmen have reached this milestone.

2447 Number of Test runs that Misbah has scored as Pakistan captain, a record. He went past Imran Khan (2408) during his innings of 101.

11 Number of hundred partnerships that Younis and Misbah have been involved in together. This is themost for any Pakistan pair. The previous record was ten, jointly held by two pairs - Inzamam/Yousuf and Miandad/Mudassar Nazar.

**5 **Number of 200-plus scores for Younis, the second most by a Pakistan batsman. Miandad has six double hundreds. Younis however does hold the joint record, with Miandad, for the most 150-plus scored by a Pakistan batsman - both have ten each. Younis is one of only 13 batsmen, across countries, to make five or more double hundreds.

1 Number of times that Nos. 3, 4 and 5 have made centuries in the same Test innings for Pakistan. Azhar Ali, Younis Khan and Misbah-ul-Haq posted hundreds, making this Pakistan’s first such instance.

**236 **Number of runs posted by Younis and Azhar Ali for the third wicket. This is the highest third-wicket partnership for Pakistan in Tests against Australia. This is the fifth highest third-wicket partnership for Pakistan, in Tests played outside Pakistan.

2 Number of batsmen who have made a Test hundred after the age of 40 in the last 20 years - Shivnarine Chanderpaul and now Misbah. He is also one of only two sub-continental batsmen, after India’s Vijay Merchant, in 1951, who have made a Test century after the age of 40. Overall, 19 batsmen have done this 38 times.

28 Number of threes run by Pakistan’s batsmen. This is the most threes in a Test innings since 2001. The second most is 26, by Australia versus England, at Adelaide, in 2006.

570 Runs scored by Pakistan. This is their fourth highest score against Australia. This is also the second highest score by any team in UAE and the highest there by Pakistan.

MashaAllah :jhanda:

43/2

10.2
Rahat Ali to Warner, OUT, gone! And it’s the short, wide one that’s got him. It deserved to be smashed, but he sort of checked his shot for some reason, and popped it straight into the hands of Yasir at point
DA Warner c Yasir Shah b Rahat Ali 19 (28b 3x4 0x6) SR: 67.85

Re: Pak V Aus - 2nd Test

Lots of 3 runs in this match

14.1
Rahat Ali to Maxwell, 3 runs, length ball on off stump, and he comes forward and times that away into the covers, it was just a push

12.5
Rahat Ali to Maxwell, 3 runs, short again, it's angling away from him but he takes on the pull, fetching it from outside off and hitting it towards the vacant midwicket boundary. This is a slow outfield, he gets three for it

Re: Pak V Aus - 2nd Test

Maxwell going fast n furious

Re: Pak V Aus - 2nd Test

Maxwell in ODI mode 29 from 17 balls

15.6
Zulfiqar Babar to Maxwell, 3 runs, he's taking guard a touch outside leg, and that allows him to drive this ball, which is pitched on middle and leg, inside-out through the covers. Just eased that through the gap with his hands

15.5
Zulfiqar Babar to Maxwell, SIX, now he down the pitch and he makes a clean connection to send it soaring over the long-off boundary

15.4
Zulfiqar Babar to Maxwell, FOUR, super footwork from Maxwell. That wasn't really a short ball but he was back and across in a flash and then swivelled with his hips and pulled that away to the midwicket boundary. Top shot

Re: Pak V Aus - 2nd Test

yes :jhanda:

75/3

21.1
Zulfiqar Babar to Maxwell, OUT, bowled him! That was such a low-percentage shot. Came down the track, looked to whip him across the line, against the turn. Closing the face was a mistake. It straightened, beat his bat, and crashed into the top of off stump.
GJ Maxwell b Zulfiqar Babar 37 (28b 2x4 1x6) SR: 132.14

Re: Pak V Aus - 2nd Test

It was a matter of time. As predicted, teen thigda....

Aus 100/5

:aejaz:

29.4
Zulfiqar Babar to Smith, OUT, plays back to a length ball and it hurries through, straightens a bit, and hits him on the back pad. Another big appeal, not given, but this time they review. He played across the line, looking to hit it leg side, and it hit the top of the pad flap. He’s playing right back, and Hawkeye says it’s hitting a major chunk of the top of middle. The umpire has to overturn his decision, and Babar is all over Australia.
SPD Smith lbw b Zulfiqar Babar 0 (6b 0x4 0x6) SR: 0.00

28.2
Rahat Ali to Lyon, OUT, bowled him! A bit of shape into the right hander, straightened from off stump, and it was the length that got Lyon. He was stuck on the crease and played for the angle, looking to drive down the ground. That opened up a gap between bat and pad and it sneaked through and crashed into the stumps
NM Lyon b Rahat Ali 15 (85b 0x4 0x6) SR: 17.64

I want to do :aejaz: on roads

Re: Pak V Aus - 2nd Test

Maxwell 37 from 28 balls is the best example for those who believe on ODI mode in Tests. His 37 from 128 balls were more beneficial then these quick 37 in test match.

Re: Pak V Aus - 2nd Test

So they are thinking to counter attack but Pakistan should consist with aggressive field plan.

30.6
Rahat Ali to Clarke, FOUR, full, a bit of shape in towards off and middle. Clarke leans on it, shows the full face, and drives it past the stumps at the other end for four. Tremendous timing

30.5
Rahat Ali to Clarke, no run, back of a length outside off, punched towards point

30.4
Rahat Ali to Clarke, FOUR, shortish ball outside off, steered away between gully and point. Shehzad looks to pull it back short of the rope, but his elbow's touched the rope with his hand in contact with the ball. Good effort
