A typical political decision to exploit and promote personal agendas and as Bitter said the casuality is the game of cricket.
Again we should give BCCI the benefit of the doubt in all this topi drama episode. I think they are not part of this cancellation. BCCI has been suppportive of PCB. They may have their reasons to support PCB but I don’t care about it.
Ehsan bhai this is just not the example of hypocrisy off late. See thisas well if you haven’t before.
Pls tell us ,what safetyn the government of Pakistan can provide to Indian team.
During the last few years, Pakistan has always provided head of states level security to the visiting teams who had any security concern. The arrangements have been declared top class by inspections teams on number of occasions.
However as I mentioned earlier, sometimes these high security measures can back fire as well since then the visiting teams start complaining of "cabin fever". Obviously in a country where they already have no easy access to "off the field entertainment" these tight security measures make the situation even difficult for them :p
As Dileep Premachandaran said in one of his articles.
"The decision not to play in Pakistan wasn't really about security. No, the decision to isolate Pakistan has far more to do with it not being "fun", with the players' every step shadowed by army commandos and police".
I don't think the Indian team should worry about its security while touring Pakistan. But I do feel that all sporting & cultural ties between the two countries should be suspended till Pakistan starts taking strict action against terrorists operating from within its boundaries against India, instead of hiding behind excuses and technicalities.

did india ever took any action/decision against those who were responsible for 1971...or golden temple massacre or gujrat love-affair etc...? surely all these incidents were linked to home-grown guru-jis.
^ If you want to discuss that, there are various other threads open and I will be happy to debate you there. Lets stick to the topic of the India tour getting canceled and its reasons here.

You said it my friend. Agree with you 100%.
Let me put myself in the shoes of the man who lost his entire family (wife & children) in the Taj attacks. Here I am cursing Pakistan 24 hours a day for providing fertile grounds for those terrorists who took my family away from me. And next thing I know my favourite stars - Tendulkar/Dhoni etc are playing cricket in Pakistan as if it is business as usual. Does the killing of my family by Pakistan based terrorists amount to nothing.
btw, I can't help but chuckle everytime the BCCI folks say - "We will abide by the Government directive" as if not abiding the Government directive is an option available to them.
I feel pitty for you on your argument. Your comeback thread is begging you to actually look what you are saying here.
Does your heart go out to people who lost their love ones in RAW-Attacked Marriot Hotel, Islamabad too?
Raw attacked. Where, when and who told you.
You guys are shamelessly trying to score brawny points by pointing to Mariot and claiming its RAW. So why now. Why havent your govt. your army or anybody else did not take this up early. Only now.
This is a lame blame game you guys are trying to play.
