Its a pity that sportsmen, artists (like Adnana Sami) etc should be caught in the cross-fire but there is something to be said about respecting the sentiments of the families who have lost their loved ones.

According to the Indian media, Pakistan have always been involved in other terrorist activivites as well in the past. Going by your logic, the victims of all previous and recent indcidents should not never feel comfortable playing with Pakistan. But still Indian team has been playing with Pakistan until recently.
So stop giving bogus theories and statements just like politicians who have their own agendas to promote for the Indian national elections. May be its difficult for you to digest that Govt. Of India and politicians have a huge politicial advantage for the elections by blaming Pakistan.

For starters, Pak govt needs to crack down on those "non-state actors" and go beyond the house arrests. Given the current Indian sentiments against Pakistan, any kind of sporting or cultural relationship with Pak will prove counterproductive until Pakistan demonstrates that it is taking necessary action against the perpetrators of 26/11.

Let me put myself in the shoes of the man who lost his entire family (wife & children) in the Taj attacks. Here I am cursing Pakistan 24 hours a day for providing fertile grounds for those terrorists who took my family away from me. And next thing I know my favourite stars - Tendulkar/Dhoni etc are playing cricket in Pakistan as if it is business as usual. Does the killing of my family by Pakistan based terrorists amount to nothing.

How about acting against Masood Azhar (who has conveniently disappeared), Hafiz Saeed & Dawood Ibrahim ?? Pakistan obviously has access to them.

You obviously know more than you are letting on. Has the Indian govt presented any direct proof linking these guys to mumbai terror or is it the usual Indian govt habit off shouting off their mouth without any proof.
^ The proof has been presented to US, UK & Pak. Pak obviously denies it. We can keep going around in circles (as we have done since 1947) and come to the same place in the end. Unfortunately, that will not solve any of our problems.

Excellent post!!!!! This is the kind of stuff which Pakistani haterz (media or certain entities) very easily overlook because that can may make someone else look bad besides Pakistan which they don't want to see.
People will easily claim that to show solidarity with the victims, Indian team should not play with Pakistan. Where was the solidarity spirit when England was invited to resume the tour after Mumbai attacks when as per the media (in the above post) some of the alleged attackers were Brisitish born????
In a nutshell this is the sorry state of media. When terrorism happens outside Pakistan, all fingers are pointed towards Pakistan. Home grown elements are conveniently ignored in any such act of terrorism. All activities including sports are resumed because terrorist cannot win.
On the other hand when anything happens in Pakistan, Pakistan is labelled hub of terrorism and a failed state with no control on home grown elements. It becomes unsafe for any foreigner. What double standards.....
