Re: Pak to become 4th largest nuclear state at end of decade

Nuke are nothing more than deterrents. Push comes to shove, 5 nukes are as good as 400. Hope you get the point :snooty:

Re: Pak to become 4th largest nuclear state at end of decade

:omg: Dude, pls go read up on history. Its one thing to make idiotic claims on a cricket game, and quite another to do so on historical facts.

Re: Pak to become 4th largest nuclear state at end of decade

^ My response was to this comment of yours -

Can you back up this claim of yours with facts ?

Re: Pak to become 4th largest nuclear state at end of decade

Why not?

1) Mrs Gandhi was assassinated by her body guards. There was an intelligence report prior to her death ,and the intelligence reports had clearly advised her not to go for Sikh body guards which she did not heed to stating any such move would futher alienate the already remonstrating Sikh community.

2)Mr Rajiv had security threats much before his assassination at perambatur.he had already received an assassination attempt in Colombo by a SriLankan guard while he was receiving Guard of Honour. He was even warned by the late Yassir Arafat(who was a very close friend of Gandhi family)that Mossad would try to harm him. There was another apparent assassination attempt on his life in Delhi ,this time by a sniper.Again there were adequate intelligence forewarnings about attempts against his life. Moreover T.N had become a roost for the L.T.T.E by 1991. Who can forget the assassination of E.P.R.L.F leader M.Padmanabha and his accomplices in Kodambakkom, near Chennai in 1990?The main accused and the leader of that hit squad was none other than Sivarasan who wold become the leader of the Rajiv Gandhi assassination squad a few months later. He and his accomplices would escape to Jaffna from vedaranyam and he would come back to india twice before he successfully execute his plan in May 1991.Even a few minutes before the deadly blast that took Mr.Rajiv's life on 21 May 1991,the security lapses were clearly conspicuous.

Pure lethargy and sheer irresponsibility that cost India the lives of these two great leaders.

I am sure you may even not have heard about the gun firing incident on Rajiv.. Here you can read ..

Section Two: News in Detail

Tapescript
Indian Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi survived an assassination
attempt in New Delhi today. The assailant fired a succession of shots
at Gandhi, who was attending a Hindu prayer service with his wife
and Indian President Zail Singh. Official sources have called the in-
cident a major security lapse. Witnesses say Gandhi told security
guards two times he had heard gun shots; the security forces
reportedly dismissed the noise as motorcycle backfire. It was over
half an hour later that police finally surrounded and captured the
gunman. Six people were injured during the arrest. The BBC’s
Humphrey Hoxley reports.

'An official statement from the Home Ministry said that those
police officials who were directly responsible for the security ar-
rangements for Mr. Gandhi have been suspended from duty. Senior
officials in the Ministry say that a top-level investigation is under
way to determine why the security around the Prime Minister, who’s
meant to be one of the most closely protected government leaders in
the world, collapsed and how a gunman armed with an illegally
manufactured revolver broke through the security cordon undetect-
ed to get within a few feet of the Prime Minister. Police say the
gunman who’s in his twenties may even have fired at Mr. Gandhi
and his party as they were approaching the area to commemorate the
birthday of the independence leader Mohandas Gandhi, who is cre-
mated there. The area was searched immediately; but security men
failed to spot the gunman, who was hiding on top of a concrete shel-
ter hidden among thick green vines. The man opened fire again when
Mr. Gandhi was leaving half an hour later. But when he was spotted,
eyewitnesses say, he threw up his arms and shouted in Hindi, "I sur-
render.’ Police say he’s not connected with any terrorist organiza-
tion., nor is he part of the Sikh movement which murdered Mr.
Gandhi’s mother, Indira, two years ago. Humphrey Hoxley, BB4C,
Delhi.

Now think twice before hollering here and calling someone’s post a stupid. You can take those gimmicks and other petty tricks with others and certainly not with me. Thanks

Re: Pak to become 4th largest nuclear state at end of decade

Re: Pak to become 4th largest nuclear state at end of decade

There is a media frenzied hype going on here that Pak nuclear weapons stand a chance to fall in the hands of extremists. It's an utter stupid story. These extremists do not have the resources and power to take on an Armed Force like that of Pakistan unless there is a military coup that's intended for these extremists. But by the given current system and establishment that's a remote possibility. All thoe poeple who are crying about it are simply disillusioned.

Re: Pak to become 4th largest nuclear state at end of decade

I am not sure how you equate Indira Gandhi voluntarily chosing to keep Sikh bodyguards despite warning or Rajiv Gandhi volunatrily deciding to go to TN for election campaigning despite warnings as "sheer lethargy" on the part of security forces. Both of them took calculated risks that they thought would help their election chances. Unfortunately, their gamble did not pay.

This is very different than the killers of Taseer and Bhatti being hailed as heroes in Pakistan.

Please try harder next time...

Re: Pak to become 4th largest nuclear state at end of decade

LOL…just watched it.

Re: Pak to become 4th largest nuclear state at end of decade

I have explained you in detail and you are still going back to the first dot.

Either you do not know the facts or you are too young to grasp things.

Try infinite times…

Re: Pak to become 4th largest nuclear state at end of decade

Pakistan also happens to be the most secure state in terms of nuclear weapons. with no accident, and no theft. compare this to USA, where a fighter jet traverses almost the width of the country with a nuclear weapon attached to it without anyone's knowledge. compare this to russia's chernobel or whatever that was. compare this to india, where in bomby last year nuclear material gone missing and "public" was trading in it. and compare this to UK where one of their nuclear sub got missing for "half hour" and then reappeared. also compare this to a well discussed case of USA's nuclear weapon stolen by Israel...
