There will be changes in the Pakistan squad for ODI series against Kiwis but I am having trouble as to which player will dropped for who.
Shoaib Malik has to be played but who will he replaced? Will there be any chance given to Azhar Mehmood, Younis Khan and Asim Kamal? Will Pakistan go with 6th Bowler option?

I can understand it makes it easy to moderate one thread instead of five but from a reader’s perspective it is pain in the neck to dig out the exact day/match and “discuss” the game.
There are 60 pages in the two tests. I don’t see how the first 30 pages regarding first test are “relevant” to what Inzimam did on the second last day of the second test.
I read some very insightful comments by some of the guppies… but if these threads are about smilies and running scoreboards then please ignore this post.
As for the bowling in one day series..they should play a specialist off spinner. Kiwies have four or five left handed batsmen. A ball moving away from the bat is much more difficult to play than the one coming in. Razzaq ahould remian n the squad and Daneish should be switched with Shoaib Malik.
Chris Harris and Lou Vincent have been omitted from New Zealand’s one-day squad for the series against Pakistan, which starts at Auckland on Saturday. Harris, New Zealand’s most experienced ODI player with 238 matches, has been in poor form lately – in six matches in the TVS Cup in India, he averaged 11 with the bat, and his two wickets cost him 46 each at more than five an over – while Vincent has struggled in the Test series at home against Pakistan.
Clearly showing their emphasis on form over reputation, the New Zealand selectors, headed by John Bracewell, picked Hamish Marshall, who was among the better performers on New Zealand’s dismal tour to Pakistan, and Craig Cumming, who also did reasonably well there. Kyle Mills returned to the squad after missing the Pakistan tour due to a viral infection.
The 13-man squad has been named for only the first two matches of the series. One player from that squad will be released later and allowed to play in New Zealand’s domestic four-day competition.

Without Azhar, we have five bowlers, we have seen our batting collapses already. Imran Farhat not adjusted to NZ conditions yet, so it'll be more like Yasir and Yousuf opening as Imran will leave crease soon, if he does not adjust and we will be left with 2 more specialist batsmen then some bunch of all rounders, who may or may not click.
Besides, Asim has not played ODI yet, give him a debut :), we need a wall.
keeping razaq and azhar both at the same time is a waste in my opinion,unless we definitely need another allrounder,, shoaib malik should be an automatic choice over azhar,.. along with the quickies sami and shoaib akhtar.
havent heard much about Asim kamal, so i dont really know... I might want to go back to younis khan.

That would be my pick... with the exact same batting order.
looking at kaneria's one day record, I might want to just stick with shabbir, who seems to be improving quite quickly and has a good line and length and could be a pain in the arse for the kiwis, cos in one days, they cant let every ball go thru to the keeper.
I think we have a very very good team on paper. Lets hope no one gets injured :)
For the Warm-up Match on Thu 01 Jan I think PCB/Javed Maindad should try Saleen Elahi & Azhar Mehmood & Asim Kamal or Younish Khan. Imran Farhat and Abdul Razzaq were ineffective in Test should be rested.

Asim Kamal should be given a shot in ODI, although his performance in his one appearance suggested that he is more of a test player, he should have been played in Razzaq's place in the tests.
Its a 5 ODI series. Team can be shuffled around without much of problem… Azhar Mahmood and Razaq in the same time would be a waste and so would be Kaneria. Replace Kaneria with Shoaib Malik and
Switch Taufeeq with either Elahi or Asim Kamal… both could be solid in the middle and middle order.
Threee S’s needs to be there all the time or they can get rest for a day or two…
