Re: Pak Judiciary 3rd most corrupt institution - TI

where have i been dictating anything?

Re: Pak Judiciary 3rd most corrupt institution - TI

Bhai, Politicians depend on others (police, bureaucracy and army) in command of forces and institutions to implement their rule. Now, if politicians are corrupts, why you think that others (like police, bureaucracy and army) would listen to them and accept their rule? What morality corrupt politicians would have to ask others to support them to rule the country?

Police and bereaucracy might get forced into submission if army endorses the politicians rule. But who would force the army to accept corrupt politicians rule?

Re: Pak Judiciary 3rd most corrupt institution - TI

as they says these days why hire a lawyer hire a judge........not surprised

Re: Pak Judiciary 3rd most corrupt institution - TI

yes the reason is simple. The army chief calls you into his head quarters and sacks you and than puts your whole family under house arrest. That is intimidation at its worst. The fault lies more with banana dictators like Mush than the judiciary.

Re: Pak Judiciary 3rd most corrupt institution - TI

Or a Chief Justice these days.

Re: Pak Judiciary 3rd most corrupt institution - TI

Ehsan bhai, what you mentioned is decent way of doing things :D A crook army chief would visit a person house, ask him to resign, and if not, shoot him dead and then declare that the person is missing. Soon new person would get appointed. Believe me, that is how it happens in banana republics, where politicians, judiciary, bureaucracies are all corrupt and then crook army chief breaks into power. [What I have heard, President Ghulam Ishaq Khan was threatened by a general who visited President house to take his resignation, that he resign or get prepared to die, then and there (killed)].

Judiciary and bureaucracy becomes corrupts if politicians in power are corrupt. Obviously, if politicians are honest, judiciary and bureaucracy cannot do corruption. In only such corrupt country army can move into power. The reason is not that army may not want to, as an army chief of any country can have bad intentions. Reason is that, in honest environment, no army chief would dare to. Thus the power of politicians is in their honesty.

So, if one sees a banana republic or army ruling a country, the people to blame is not army but politicians of that country, as they are corrupts and thus could not create that love and respect in the country where most government organs respect them and scared of them, including army. It is that respect that gives fears to army chief to not act against politician in power. Even if politicians are ruling such banana republic, they rule curtsey of the army who may not act even though the environment is conducive for them to take over.

Re: Pak Judiciary 3rd most corrupt institution - TI

That is what the CJ was trying to do, get some answers from him regarding the missing persons when he sacked him (oops for the sensitive, when he filed a reference against him). An honest army chief wouldn't do that now? would he? Only a crook and power hungry dictator would and Mush fits the bill.

Re: Pak Judiciary 3rd most corrupt institution - TI

“I appreciate the president’s move (of filing a reference) against Justice Chaudhry. This step should have been taken much earlier. He used to act autocratically when he was the chief justice of the Balochistan High Court. He overtly formulated and backed a lobby of privileged lawyers against former Baloch Chief Justice Amir-ul-Mulk Mengal. He was not free in making decisions. He used to take dictations from politicians.” Tareen said he himself had been sacked from the post of sessions judge in Noshaki district by Justice Chaudhry. “I was then a member of the Pakistan People’s Party and Nawaz Sharif, the former prime minister, dictated Justice Chaudhry to fire me,” he added

Re: Pak Judiciary 3rd most corrupt institution - TI

Most corrupt Institutions:

  1. Army 2.Selected Politician (Selected by Mush and dictators of the past) 3.Police 4.Revenue (Income tax and Customs) 5.Judiciay

The list is long. At present no organization can be termed as honest, when people who has the absolute power are most corrupt.

Re: Pak Judiciary 3rd most corrupt institution - TI

Isn’t chief justice lucky? What would have happened if he would have gone missing too?

Re: Pak Judiciary 3rd most corrupt institution - TI

What are the other two? May be POLICE and CUSTOMS. Judiciary has beaten lot of other capable institutions to be number three. Congratulations

Re: Pak Judiciary 3rd most corrupt institution - TI

It is not a question of true or not true. The issue is Indians have their own corrupt institutions may be in different order so worry about your own house first then worry about others.
