Anyhow, the gender role for human which OP or other people is talking about is different than you mentioned.

And if came to that, humans would eat theirs too. This is not about right or wrong, this is nature. Ever heard of “A modest proposal” by Jonathan Swift? It is a satire but truly depicts what humans are capable of.
Well, we are not that much different than animals. We really are not. Even domesticated animals act differently than the wild ones. Does that mean the domesticated cats are different than the ones in the wild? No, they are not. Survival of the fittest theory applies to humans as well.

First the discussion is not about what we are capable of.
The discussion is what is expected of us being human being.
We are not just animals.
We are special kind of animals who have been giving something beyond instincts.
Yes domesticated animals ARE different than wild animals, that is why people keep them close to their children or even sleep with them in bed.
You would not keep a tiger at home with your kids but will keep probably a cat/dog in the house who is domesticated.
I can turn the able towards you by saying:

No one is favoring homosexuality, but understanding that it's not a choice and that no one chooses whether they want to be gay or straight. it's about standing against persecution of homosexuals and discrimination against an individual based on sexual orientation. it's not unnatural to be gay either, thats how nature intended for certain individuals.

The thing is that in Islam we're supposed to believe that yes God created us this way (whichever way) but its our test to still follow what he has told us to do. Basically to fight our nafs whether it be straight or gay sex. I really wonder if there are ppl out there who manage to do that? As in, they are attracted to guys but never acted on it for the sake of Allah. I mean there must be someone, and that must be a really difficult test. That u would get married but not be attracted to ur wife but still accept it and try to make the best of it. Allah HAS said that he won't lay on us a burden we cannot bear, so I wonder if we're just taking the easy way out and saying I just can't do it (this is a general statement and not just about homosexuality but all the things we're not supposed to do).

On a seperate note, I was havin a discussion with my hubby once about the big bang theory and I was saying its so absurd that ppl believe that the world just magicallyl came into being with one big bang and that theres no supreme being. That how can it make sense to ppl, the world came into being from nothing and just out of the blue, and that it was so perfect. And he said well part of it is true, that the big bang was when Allah said Kunn (from Kunn FayaKunn; Be and it is). And I never thought of it like that! Made so much sense after that.
Sorry this is not related to the thread but I just wanted to share my epiphany moment.

but would it be fair to the heterosexual wife that her husband is not actually attracted to her and doesn't need her in that way? i dont see how someone whos gay, can really want a woman like a straight man does.
i think if someone is gay but doesn't want to go against the religion, and doesn't want to commit the sin of sodomy, they should stay without a partner. it's not a sin to be gay, the act of sodomy itself is the sin.

If you are seriously asking and word of God matters to you, then that is already mentioned in Quran. If example of Gomorah and Sodoms isn't sufficient, then....
but still if someone wants to eat figs, use animals as examples, want to live life like them, then by all means go and do so. And if someone fiercely defends something then choose and include that in your life too. Practice what you preach.
If supporting homosexuality, then also lead by example, pick a same gender partner, don't look for opp gender under the excuse of procreation. Adopt kids even though those kids are again a result of an opposite gender bond.

only purpose to create this thread was that "some" guys shouldn't treat their ladies as if they are machines or superhumans ....... why overburden them? ........ you cant work as male & female both at the same time .... hence I asked this question ......
