In my experience i have learned our folks' generation is thick enough to not learn any new tricks. They cannot and will not keep up with the times. Their thoughts will not change. Trying to make them understand is like talking to a brick wall, i.e. no feedback.
We have to go on full ignore mode if we are to survive this trial.
