Paak Seerat Hadhrat Masih e Maood (A.S)

Dear GS members and other viewers: I have been noticing that a lot of threads are being created to defame the character of Hadhrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani (A.S), Masih e Maood and Mahdi.

Before you continue reading further I would like to make it clear that this thread will only hold information on paak seerat and writings of Hadhrat sb (A.S) and if you intend to do some characterisation then there are perhaps other threads for this purpose. Whilst there are users who are putting one sided arguments I would try to tell the rest of the story.

For those who still think otherwise then I suggest visit Rule and Regulations thread and read them before making any post. Expecially dont break following rule:

For this purpose I will make series of posts with different subject.

This post will contain following subject:

Miraculous Knowledge of Arabic

The Promised Messiah claimed that the source of his learning was no other than the All-Knowing God Who had graciously endowed him with knowledge of His Holy Book and of the Arabic language. “The Gracious Lord taught the Quran”. This was a Divine promise supplemented with another gift in the shape of a perfect knowledge of 40,000 root-words of the Arabic language. I have been granted the miracle of eloquent and elegant speech in the likeness of the Holy Quran and there is none who can compete with me" said the Promised Messiah. (Zaruratul Imam, page 25).

Even the leading luminaries of the Arab world dared not take up this challenge which came from an inhabitant of a village of the Punjab where Arabic was neither spoken nor written as a living language but was treated as a classic language. No doubt it was held in great reverence, but it was far from being the medium of education anywhere in the entire subcontinent.

Ijazul Masih was his first book in choice Arabic language on the excellencies and exegesis of the Holy Quran that carried his challenge to the ulema of the Arab and non-Arab world. The prominent Egyptian writer Allama Rashid Raza, Editor of the Almanar (Cairo), was especially invited to pick up the gauntlet. The Promised Messiah said that if anyone would come up with a comparable performance he would burn his manuscript. He observed:

He further declared that `this is a book which has no equal and whoever attempted to prepare its answers would be humbled and put to shame. The Promised Messiah prepared a number of scholarly works since then in Arabic of unique charm and wonderful artistic beauty and overflowing with enthralling exposition of the subtleties of the Holy Book.

  1. Minanur Rahman;
  2. Khutba Ilhamia;
  3. Najmulhuda;
  4. Tuhfatul Baghdad;
  5. Nurul Haq;
  6. Ijaz-e-Ahmadi;
  7. Hamamatul Bushra;
  8. Lujjatun-Nur;
  9. Hujjatullah;
  10. Mowahibur Rahman;
  11. Albalagh;
  12. Targhibul Momineen;
  13. Sirrul Khilafa;
  14. Istifta;
  15. Sirat-ul-Abdal;
  16. Karamat-us-Sadiqeen;
  17. Al-Anzar;
  18. Itmamul Hujjat;
  19. Alhuda etc.

The Promised Messiah published a eulogy Al-Qasidah in Arabic, a fascinating piece of literary gems and invited the ulema to produce a similar performance and offered a reward of rupees 10,000 for the successful competitor. He challenged the entire body of ulema to a joint comparable effort and made it the deciding factor in the issue of his claim to the office of Messiah saying that if they succeeded in their effort then take me as finished and my whole order a spurious affair. In that event my followers should forsake me and cut off all connection with me.

An Audio Video version of the Qaseeda in Arabic, Urdu and English can be listened here:

The eulogy related to the proceedings of a long and bitter argument held earlier between Hazrat Sayyed Muhammad Sarwar Shah, the Ahmadiyya spokesman and Maulvi Sanaullah Amritsari, at Mudd, a village in Amritsar District. The Promised Messiah composed the eulogy in Arabic with its Urdu translation in less than a week. It reflected not only his unexcelled mastery over the Arabic language, but also comprised precious pearls of spiritual wisdom and constituted remarkable evidence of the Divine source of the Promised Messiah’s knowledge. He addressed the rival ulema in the following terms:

By far the most eloquent and magnificent miracle that bears high and unimpeachable testimony to the Divine source of his inspiration, is the Khutba Ilhamia - the revealed sermon - delivered by the Promised Messiah at Qadian on April 11, 1900, before a large gathering of his votaries consisting, among others the renowned divine Hazrat Maulvi Nuruddin and the great Hazrat Maulvi Abdul Karim, Sialkoti. Never before had the Promised Messiah made a speech in Arabic nor was it customary among the Indian ulemas to address gatherings in Arabic. It was under Divine command that the Promised Messiah delivered the sermon which is a vast treasure-house of sublime excellencies of pure wisdom couched in powerful language of surpassing beauty, and in a charming style of elegant grace. When the Promised Messiah embarked on delivering the address, it seemed that some unseen hand held him in its grip, and it was a voice from the unknown that had made him its mouthpiece.

Since the Promised Messiah’s assignment consisted of rebutting the criticism the deprecators of Islam had levelled against the Holy Quran, it was necessary therefore that he should be inspired with deep insight into the eternal truths, abounding wisdom, and the curative properties and transforming qualities of the Quranic teachings so that he might effectively combat the current philosophies and creeds that tended to undermine faith in the hereafter, in angels, in a final reckoning and in an ultimate Divine purpose behind the creation of the universe and in the goal of human life. He came forward with the claim that God had, through His special benign Grace, granted him clear insight into the fundamentals of the Holy Quran and armed him with requisite knowledge of His attributes, of His purpose and of His Word and that as an advocate of His faith, he was divinely inspired to reinterpret the Quran in consonance with the prime purity of its transcendence. For him it was a living book brooking no change or amendment, self-explanatory, a life- giving miracle which embodies cures for the maladies of every age and is a compendium of all the moral and spiritual truths vital to the welfare and salvation of mankind. His exposition of the excellencies of the Holy Quran attracted a large number of votaries who took up the study of the Holy Quran with great avidity and making it their practical guide, found a new life of spiritual vigour. For them the Quran became a living message and Allah a living God. Angels, Day of Reckoning, life after death, ordinances of God, Divine revelation and Divine pleasure were no longer empty names nor His signs ancient history. They relived the first-hand experience of early Islamic life.

None took up the Promised Messiah’s challenge to compete with him in expounding the meaning and the philosophy of the Quranic commandments.

This claim was repeated by his son, Hazrat Mirza Bashiruddin Mahmud Ahmad, Khalifatul Masih II, and remains a standing challenge. Again none came forward to demonstrate a comparable degree of spiritual truths and eternal wisdom or Divine knowledge in rival scriptures. The challenge is still here. It has been repeated over and over again.

The Promised Messiah had such absorbing love for the Holy Quran that he was as a reward granted the knowledge that Arabic was the original language of human speech and root of all the languages. His book Minanur Rahman on the subject created a stir in literary circles and was read with keen interest. His thesis rests on a scientific enquiry with sound reasoning, having originated from a single source - Arabic, have, through passage of time, undergone super-structural changes, due to a variety of factors that usually shape language and dialects.

No reformer worth his salt, can ever dare to ascribe his spiritual gifts to his own genius independent of a devotional allegiance to the Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace be on him, the central medium of Divine bounty and grace. The Promised Messiah claimed the honour of his high office through the interceding grace of the Holiest of the Holy. Said he. **All blessings are because of Muhammad'** (Haqiqatulvahi p. 71). He said, There was a time when I was wholly engrossed in invoking God’s blessings on the Holy Prophet (peace and grace of Allah be on him), for, I believed that the ways of access to God were too subtle and were not open but through the medium of the Noble Prophet, as God says **Seek ye the means of approach to Him'.** Then, after a while, I saw in a state of vision two water-carriers enter my house, one from the inner passage and the other from the outer passage, bearing on their backs skins full of light, They said This is what you have been invoking on Muhammad (peace be on him)'.

With Prayers that this thread will bring harmony among other Muslims and Non Msulims by reading these posts. Please read posts with open mind.

u forgot to add the rest of his claims....
he was not only the mahdi, but also the jesus reincarnate and sometimes even god almight himself....

Thank for reminding me....I shall add something on this subject later on at some stage.

Noble Writings of Promissed Messiah (A.S) on Holy Quran

[quote]

The title Khatam al-Nabiyyin used for the Holy Prophet (on whom be peace and blessings of God) requires - the term in its own right requires - that the Book revealed to the Holy Prophet (on whom be peace and blessings) should be Khatam al-Kutub, it should be a book perfect in all dimensions. The Quran is full of such perfection.
(Malfoozat vol. 3, pg. 36)

I was young and now I am old. There are people who would know and if they will, they will bear witness that I have had no concern with worldly affairs. My interests have centered in religion. Let me tell you that the Book called the Quran is most Holy, most full of spiritual wisdom.... The blessings and benefits we expect from a true faith, this book has come at last to confer on man. Through it man comes to inherit the Grace of God. Can it be that having found such a light we should turn again to darkness, having had eyes should choose to become blind again.
(Sanatan Dharam, pg. 67)

Perfect and holy is the teachings of the Holy Quran which nourishes every branch of the human tree. The Holy Quran does not stress only one side of it. It teaches compassion and forgiveness when forgiveness is nearer wisdom. It prescribes punishment for the wrong-doer but such as is appropriate to the moment and the occasion.
(Barahin-i-Ahmadiyya II, pg. 91-92)

[quote]

God is our witness, He Who knows the innermost secrets of our hearts, that I am ready to accept the penalty of death, should any one be able to point to the slightest weakness in the teachings of the Holy Quran, it may be as slight as a minute fraction of a particle. Or should any one be able to point to an equally slight virtue of a book to which he subscribes, a virtue contrary to the teachings of the Quran on the same point, yet superior to it.
(Barahin-i-Ahmadiyya III, pg. 268 foot note 2)

Of the great spiritual powers of the Holy Quran, one is that he who submits to it becomes gifted with the power to work miracles and do deeds out of the ordinary run. In such number, that the world will not think of contesting.

Even a dot of the Holy Quran does not run the risk of any damage or alteration at the hands of collective assault of the ancestors and successors. It is such a strong, secure and solid stone that its strike will split apart and any one who strikes against it, will be annihilated.

Promissed Messiah's (A.S) Love for Holy Prophet SAW in his writings

[quote]

What was this, do you know? This most wonderful thing which happened in the wilderness of Arabia? Spiritually dead millions became alive again in a matter of days; those without eyes began to see, those without speech began to speak the language of seers gifted with divine knowledge. This was a revolution which no eye had seen before nor had an ear heard of it before.

What was it, do you know? It was a miracle performed by the mighty prayers of a man who had dedicated his life to God. Prayers offered in the dead of night. These prayers shook the world. They wrought changes impossible for an unlettered person to bring about.

God! shower Thy blessings and send peace on this man! Bless not only him but also those who come after him and follow him! Remove their fears, their sorrows, their anxieties. And on this his Umma, shower Thy Bounties and Thy Blessings until the end of days.
(Barkat-al Dua pg. 10-11)

Thousands and thousands of prayers and invocations of peace, mercies, and blessings, for the Holy Prophet Muhammad Mustafa - on whom peace - through whom we found the Living God.
(Nasim-i-Dawat, pg. 1)

[quote]

The true saviour whose offer of salvations (of the fruit of salvation, to be exact), is with us today and will be with us until doomsday, is the one who appeared in the land of Hijaz. His offer of salvation was for all mankind, of all times.

We know it clearly from the Holy Quran that every prophet is a member of the Umma - the fold - of Muhammad (on whom be peace). Says the Holy Quran addressing the prophets:
You shall believe in him help him (3:82)
This means all prophets belong to the Umma - the fold - of the Holy Prophet (on whom be peace).

A man who exceeded all men in perfection, perfect as man and perfect as prophet, came into the world, endowed with the most perfect of graces. Through the Quickening and Gathering brought about by him came the First Resurrection. A dead world became charged with life. Who is he? He is the blessed prophet, Khatam al-Anbiya, Imam al-Asfiya, Khatam al-Mursalin, Fakhr al-Nabiyyin, Muhammad Mustafa (on whom be peace and blessings of God).

Beloved God! Reward this beloved prophet with Mercies and Favours with which no man from the beginning of time, has been rewarded by Thee. Had not this great prophet appeared in the world, we would have known nothing of the truth of the lesser prophets like Jonah, Job, Jesus son of Mary, Malachi, John, Zachariah, etc., etc. We would have had no proof. True, they were accepted and approved and honoured and loved by God. But we owe this to The Holy Prophet, that these other prophets came to be known as true prophets.

"God! Accept our prayers for him, send him peace, bless him and his progeny and all his companions with Thy blessings."

In many places in the Holy Quran it is laid down - implicitly as well as explicitly - that the Holy Prophet, on whom be peace and the blessings of God, is the most perfect manifestation of Divinity; his speech is the speech of God, his advent the advent of God, his coming the coming of God. We have the verse, 'Say, Truth has come and falsehood has gone, and falsehood had to go'. Truth here means the three - God Almighty, the Holy Quran and the Holy Prophet, on whom be peace and blessings of God.... You can see how God Almighty associates the Holy Prophet's name with His Own and how the Holy Prophet's advent becomes the advent of God. (peace on the Holy Prophet and God's blessings).

I have always wondered and wondered how high must be the station of this Arabian Prophet Muhammad! Thousands of blessings and prayers of peace for him! Impossible it is to measure the height of his station. Impossible to have an idea of his purifying powers. Pity therefore that his greatness goes unrecognized still. The conception of the One God had all but disappeared from the face of this earth; the stalwart who established it again in human hearts is he. He loved God to the utmost. And he loved and sympathised with mankind equally, sacrificing his life for their sake. No wonder, God Who knew the secret of his heart raised him above Prophets and above all men who had gone before him or were to come after him. All his aspirations were fulfilled during his life.

Only two lives are worthy of praise. One is the life of Our God, the Life Giver, the Life Sustainer, the Source of Graces and Favours. The other life is the life which enriches and favours and is God-like in its graces. This second kind of life - come, let me tell you - is the life of our Holy Prophet (on whom be peace and blessings of God). Heavenly signs at all times in history have borne witness to this life. They are here with us today.

And remember, he, whose life does not enrich other people's lives is dead, not living. I hold God as witness when I declare - and to declare anything false in His Name is rank depravity - that God has given me proof of enduring spiritual life - so full of beauty and power - of my revered master, the Chief of us all, Muhammad, on whom be peace. The proof is that by following in his footsteps and by devoting my love to him, I have seen heavenly sings descend upon me and fill my heart with the light of certainty of faith.

Is there a prophet who lives still? Then he is our Holy Prophet (on whom be peace). Books have been written by renowned authors on the Life of the Holy Prophet that he - our Holy Prophet - continues to live is proved by mighty arguments. Arguments which have no equal in any other prophet's life. Among the arguments is this, that a prophet who lives in one whose blessings and graces continue for ever.

The life of Holy Prophet is a life of enduring worth. A mighty proof of this is that the graces of the graces of the Holy Prophet, his spiritual influence, lives for ever. Those who walk in his footsteps even today become quickened with life, - raised from their graves as it were. They receive the gift of a new spiritual life.

Another question may come to reader’s mind that how did Hadhrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (A.S) served Islam and Muslims ummah.

A very simple answer would be through his literature. Promissed Messiah (A.S) wrote more then 80 books in service and defending Islam. For the ease of users I would present a very small and brief summary of few of the books.

**Brahin-i-Ahmadiyya **

The first and the second volumes of Brahin-i-Ahmadiyya were published in 1880 CE, the third volume in 1882 and the fourth volume in 1884. The fifth volume took, under the divine scheme, a long time to be published. It saw the light of the day after 1905.

When the book started to be written and published, the British Government was well established in the sub-continent of India and in its wake the Christian religion was getting itself entrenched with great force and speed. The statistics show that whereas there were 91,000 Christians in India in 1851 CE, there were no less than 470,000 in 1881 CE. The increase in number was simply unprecedented.
The onslaught of the Christian missionaries was mostly directed towards the Muslims. Followers of some other religions, like Hinduism, also did not lag behind in attacking Islam. Arya Samaj was particularly opposed to all that was connected with Islam and the Muslims.

It was in these circumstances that Hadhrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as) who later on claimed to be the Promised Messiah and Mahdi, took up his pen to prove the truth of Islam and the excellence of the Holy Qur’an. As for the reason why he wrote his book Brahin-i-Ahmadiyya, he says:

Hadhrat Ahmad (as) offered a prize of 10,000 rupees to anyone who could refute these proofs and give even one-fifth of these proofs in favour of his own religion, scripture and Prophet. He was so anxious to make things clear to the people that he got this challenge (with prize) printed in such bold letters that a page of almost 10" length had only seven lines on it and it was spread over pages 24 to 52.
When the Christians and the Hindus saw the first volume, they became furious and talked most irrelevantly but none of them succeeded in taking up the challenge sincerely.

Hadhrat Ahmad (as) then explained to his readers that he never had any intention to injure the feelings of the people. What he actually wanted to do and what he was doing was to prove intellectually that Islam was a better religion than every other religion. He said the days had passed when stories were considered to be sufficient to prove that a religion was a living and practical religion.

Hadhrat Ahmad (as) has made mention of the following six points about this book:

  1. It contains all the truths based on the principles of the knowledge of religion; all the truths that put together can be called Islam.

  2. It contains 300 proofs – strong, conclusive and convincing of the truth of Islam.

  3. It contains answers to the allegations, accusations, objections and whimsical views of the opponents of Islam like Jews, Christians, Magians, Aryas, Brahmins, idol worshippers, atheists, naturalists and non-religious people.

  4. It contains a discussion on the basic religious beliefs of the followers of other religions.

  5. It contains the explanation of the secrets of the word of God. The wisdom of the Holy Qur’an becomes manifest throughout.

  6. All the discussions have been penned with great coolness and fineness and in perfect accordance with the rules of discussion; everything has been said in a lucid manner and understanding has been made easy.

The third volume starts with a mention of the poor condition of the Muslims and Hadhrat Ahmad (as) has shown great concern for them. It contains the external and internal proofs of the truth and excellence of the Holy Qur’an. This topic has been discussed at length and quite a number of details have been mentioned in the marginal notes.
The fourth volume begins with the list of the topics discussed in the book. It makes mention of the proofs of the need of the Word of God (revelation) and asserts that the perfect faith and God realisation which is all important for salvation can be achieved through the revelation of God. It also mentions the excellent and unique interpretation of the Sura Fatiha and also some other verses of the Holy Qur’an; the teachings of Vedas are devoid of the idea of the Oneness of God; Pundit Dayanand silenced and the prophecy about his death of which many people were informed beforehand came to pass; the comparison of the teachings of the Holy Qur’an and the New Testament; prophecies which many people were told beforehand; the miracles of Jesus Christ (as), and what is the real salvation and how it can be obtained.

At the close of the fourth volume, Hadhrat Ahmad (as) added a note which is entitled ‘We and our Book’. In it he says that when he started writing this book things were different from what they are now. He remarked that a sudden manifestation of God the like of which was shown to Moses (as) had been received by him and he had heard the voice of God Who said:

The fifth volume of Brahin-i-Ahmadiyya was published no less than 23 years after the publication of the fourth volume.

This volume starts with a description of the true and living religion and stresses the point that a true and living religion must have the miraculous manifestation of the words and deeds of the Almighty God. Any religion that is not true and is not living will certainly be devoid of these manifestations.

Hadhrat Ahmad (as) then continues to explain what a miracle really is and why it is essential that the miracles must take place. He adds that the living miracle and not merely the stories of the old are the sure sign of a living religion.

In the second chapter of the volume, Hadhrat Ahmad (as) makes mention of the fulfilment of what had been outlined in the first four volumes, almost 25 years back. During this period a large number of prophecies had come to pass and hundreds of his revelations had been mentioned to the people with the result that all those people were witnesses to those revelations. He also shows to his readers the succour that he had received from God on all the occasions. All these things, he says, are a proof of the truth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad, on whom be peace and blessings of Allah and also they, quite clearly, show that he (Hadhrat Ahmad (as)) was true in all the claims that he had made in respect of his having been commissioned by God.

There is a lengthy supplement attached to the book (Volume V). In this supplement, Hadhrat Ahmad has answered the objections raised by the people, especially by Mr. Muhammad Ikramullah of Shahjahanpur, Maulvi Abu Saeed Mohammad Hussain, Sayed Muhammad Abdul Wahid of Bengal and Rashid Ahmad Gangohi.

He has also dealt with the death of Jesus Christ (as), basing his arguments on a number of verses of the Holy Qur’an.

After the supplement, Hadhrat Ahmad (as) wanted to write an epilogue. The short notes for this epilogue have been added to the book. These notes show that he wanted to explain what Islam really is, how excellent and perfect is the teaching of the Holy Qur’an, the fulfilment of the promises God had made to him as mentioned in the first four volumes of the book and, also, he wanted to explain what those revelations meant in which he had been called Jesus.
As for his claim, he says (and with that ends the fifth volume of Brahin-i-Ahmadiyya):

For time being, this is enough, we will discuss Mirza’s knowledge of the Arabic language first before you jumping to any other of his alleged qualities. Please remember you have opened this thread with the heading of Sirah of Mirza. You should be mindful of the fact; Sirah means any aspect of his life. Now you are stuck with your own topic, it is fair for us Muslims to bring any incident we deem fit to discuss from the life of Mirza. After all his life, his habits, his actions, his words, his writings are his Sirah.

Probably, on this juncture you could also explain, what happened to that Siddiq, following whose Sirah makes one Prophet? Just a question, I think you may be interested in answering.

1- Mirza has claimed that Allah SWT directly taught him 40,000 roots words of Arabic. Do you agree with this statement, and do you maintain that Allah SWT allegedly taught Arabic to Mirza?

2- If He SWT did, as claimed by Mirza and maintained by your Jamat, then we Muslims are entitle to ask, why only root words? Why Allah SWT didn’t teach him the completel Arabic language including the Grammar? Wouldn’t it be more commonsense and effective?

3- What was the mother tongue i.e. language of Mirza?

4- Can you give one example from the Holy Quran or Bible for that matter that a Prophet of Allah SWT given revelations by Allah SWT in any other language then his own mother tongue

4- One follower of Mirza, Mr. Memon in an article posted on your official web site has made the following blasphemous claim against Allah SWT and Prophet Muhammad SAW; without providing any reference at all or the evidence as he claimed.

Despite him stating “following revelation vouchsafed unto Hadrat Muhammad SAW in Persian”, he conveniently didn’t produce the evidence or any reference, where one can find this alleged evidence.

Can you produce this evidence please? If you fail to do so, what would you call Mr. Memon who has leveled grave accusations against Allah SWT directly and then despite writing following revelations, failed to produce this alleged revelations? A honest answer will do, or you can provide the evidence of that revelations thank you. I have written this incident in my latest article; This article also provides glimpses of Sirah of Mirza.

Dreams of Mirza Crankthatskunk’s Weblog

Once you provide me answer to my questions, I would provide you evidence how Mirza learned the languages and refute your claims for his excellent knowledge of the Arabic.

Re: Paak Seerat Hadhrat Masih e Maood (A.S)

**Book - Purani Tahrirain (Old Writings) **

The book entitled Purani Tahrirain (which means ‘Old Writings’) contains an article and a correspondence between Hadhrat Ahmad, peace be on him, and some Arya Samajists. The article was written in 1879 CE and the correspondence took place immediately after that, for that also was connected with the article. But these writings were collected and published by a great disciple of Hadhrat Ahmad (as) in 1899. The article and the correspondence make mention of three things:

  1. The falsification of the theory of transmigration and comparison between the Holy Qur’an and the Vedas (the sacred scripture of the Hindus). The logical proofs based on the teachings of the Holy Qur’an, of the fact that God is and He ought to be the Creator of all that is there.

  2. The facts about revelation, its need, and the proofs that revelation really does take place.

  3. The falsification of the Arya ideology of the souls being eternal for ever to ever-and uncreated. The fact of God being the Creator of the souls, as He is the Creator of everything else.

A certain Pundit Kharhak Singh (a member of the Arya Samaj) went to Qadian and asked Hadhrat Ahmad for a discussion on some religious points. The discussion did take place but it was not very fruitful, for Mr. Singh left abruptly. After he left, Hadhrat Ahmad (as) addressed some important members of Arya Samaj and sent them the article which he had read at the public meeting held at the request of Mr. Singh. He asked all of them for a reply and reiterated that the prize of Rs 500/ - which he had announced before was valid with this article as well. A correspondence ensued. There were two letters from Shiv Narain and one from Bawa Narain Singh (this letter is not included in the booklet). It was published in a magazine called Aftab on 18th February, 1879. All the letters were replied to by Hadhrat Ahmad, peace be on him.

This great book can be read on this page:

THIS IS MY LAST REPLY TO YOU AS PERSON UNTIL YOU APPOLOGIES FOR MIS BEHAVING AND DIS-RESPECTING HADHRAT MIRZA GHULAM AHMAD QADIANI (A.S).

YOU ARE MOST WELCOME TO POST WHATEVER YOU LIKE AS IT IS YOUR RIGHT IN YOUR THREADS BUT THIS THREAD IS VERY CLEAR IN ITS TITLE:

PAAK SEERAT OF PROMISSED MESSIAH (A.S).

Any post off topic will simply be reported.

Mr. D..tox.ed

Apologising for what actually? You mean disclosing the real Sirah of Mirza? Did you notice the disrespect Mirza showed by associating white lies to the Holy Quran, Word of Allah SWT, disrespect to Prophet Muhammad SAW, ISA As, claiming that Allah SWT has revealed to him, “you are to me like My son”?

It is entirely up to you if you do not want to answer the questions. You will be doing a disservice to your Jamat and to Mirza, if you do not defend him.

Fact of the matter is you open this thread to show us Muslims the Sirah of Mirza. It is not my fault that you have opened a Pandora box for yourself. Everything whatever Mirza did and write in his life is his Sirah. We Muslims are entitled to challenge your view and present the evidence to show the true Sirah of Mirza. This is exactly the topic of this thread, chosen by you, I must emphasise. Do not complain, it is of your choosing, everything I produce from the life of Mirza and his writings would be appropriate and relevant for this thread.

Therefore, I have chosen the first thing you quoted i.e. knowledge of Arabic of Mirza, his and your claims that “he was taught Arabic by Allah SWT”. Why you think answering the very quotations you have so proudly presented is not relevant to this thread

Notes to the Moderators,

Mr. d..tox.ed has open this thread to discuss the Sirah of Mirza, therefore, anything he has written or done in his life is included in this discussion. He has quoted the knowledge of Arabic language of Mirza, I quote from the post of Mr. D..tox.ed

***Miraculous Knowledge of Arabic***

*The Promised Messiah claimed that the source of his learning was no other than the All-Knowing God Who had graciously endowed him with knowledge of His Holy Book and of the Arabic language. "*The Gracious Lord taught the Quran". This was a Divine promise supplemented with another gift in the shape of a perfect knowledge of 40,000 root-words of the Arabic language. I have been granted the miracle of eloquent and elegant speech in the likeness of the Holy Quran and **there is none who can compete with me" said the Promised Messiah. Therefore, it is within my rights to challenge his evidence. It is the topic and contents of this thread he has chosen. He has absolutely no rights to claim that if I refute his claims and that of Mirza which he so proudly presented from the writings of Mirza quoted above.

I am starting with Mirza’s knowledge of the Arabic first and his claims how he learned this language.

Then I will be dealing with his claims of knowledge of the Holy Quran. Mr. D.tox.ed has absolutely no right to claim that it is not the topic of this thread, the evidence is clear. Nor he can demand removal of any posts which deals with the topics he so clearly chosen.

He can not expect this forum to become propaganda tool for him and his Jamat; without we Muslims challenging the evidence he produced, or claim made by him personally or by Mirza in the writings he so proudly chosen to display on the thread

I hope you will keep this in mind and ignore the baseless complaints by Mr. d..tox.ed to delete my or any other Muslims posts who chose to take part in this discussion. He should realize he has right to his opinion, but we Muslims also have our rights to present the evidence in this regard which is relevant to this thread and topics discussed. If Mr. D. tox.ed find the evidence produced not of his liking then tough, we can not help him in his difficulties. Nor he can back track from the material he so proudly presented. If he cares not to comment or provide answers then it is his prerogative. I will continue to post the evidence to refute his and Mirza’s claims. It is entirely up to him and other Qadianis to challenge the evidence I produce and debate/discuss with me or other Muslims.

He is showing his dishonesty to include the word “Pak” and tried to claim that anything we show from Mirza’s writings which show him in any other light would not be relevant for this thread. Fact of the matter is, it would still be the writings and deeds of Mirza therefore, would be his Sirah. Pak is Mr. D...tox.ed opinion at best, not the topic of this thread. Topic is Sirah of Mirza.

I hope you do not fall prey to this trick. Please do not give this impression to Muslims that you are unduly protecting this cult and providing them backing. They should be able to answer legitimate and relevant questions raised on the topics they so clearly chosen and refute the evidence which goes against Mirza and their beliefs. I am not taking this rights away from them. But they can not take Muslims rights away either to show the true face of Mirza in the mirror of his own writings and character.

**Book - Surma Chashm Arya (Collrium for the eyes of the Aryas) **

Hadhrat Ahmad, peace be on him, had gone to Hoshiarpur under divine guidance. There he received the revelation prophesying the birth of a son with great qualities. He was still there (at Hoshiarpur) after the revelation when a certain Arya leader, Murli Dhar, asked for a discussion and his request was accepted. As a result of the acceptance of this request, the discussion took place on 11th and 14th March, 1886 CE. Lala Murli Dhar did not stick to the previously decided conditions of the discussion and the discussion, therefore, could not be completed and concluded as it should have been otherwise. Hadhrat Ahmad, peace be on him, therefore, felt the necessity of telling the reading public what Murli Dhar wanted to ask and what the reply of Hadhrat Ahmad (as) would have been.

The topics discussed in this book are:

  1. The miracle of the splitting of the moon by the Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him.

  2. Is salvation eternal or a limited phase?

  3. The soul and the matter, whether they are uncreated and eternal, or they have been created by God.

  4. Comparison between the Holy Qur’an and the Vedas (the sacred scripture of the Hindus).

The book also contains a challenge in the form of a Mubahila (a prayer duel to prove the truth of a religious doctrine). It closes with a prize of Rs 500/ - for anyone who could refute satisfactorily the proofs adduced by Hadhrat Ahmad (as) in the book Surma Chashm Arya.

*Book - Shahna-i-Haq (Battalion of Truth) *

This book (published in 1887) is also named Aryon ki kisi qadr Khidmat aur un ke vedon aur nukta chinion ki kucheh mahiyat (i.e. A little service of the Aryas and the truth about their Vedas and the objections they raise). When Surma Chashm Arya was published, the Aryas were stunned and instead of replying to it in a sober manner, they brought out a book with utterly filthy abuses. They called Hadhrat Ahmad (as) names, and they hurled abusive language on the Holy Qur'an. Hadhrat Ahmad (as) replied to this abusive book with Shahnai Haq. He told them point blank that their threats on his life were meaningless. He was not so much concerned with his life as he was with the spreading of the truth of Islam. Hadhrat Ahmad (as) also told his readers that Lekh Ram of Peshawar who was mostly engineering opposition to him and who was nastily abusive while talking about Islam and its Founder was a man with no knowledge and sense at all.
A letter from Mr. Alex R. Webb of the United States and the reply to it from the pen of Hadhrat Ahmad (as) are given at the close of the book.

Re: Paak Seerat Hadhrat Masih e Maood (A.S)

Book - Sabz Ishtihar (Green Poster) **
Sabz Ishtihar is the title by which it came to be known
because it was printed on a green paper**, otherwise the title of the poster is Haqqani Taqreer bar waqia-wafat Bashir (i.e. A speech full of truth delivered on the death of Bashir).

Bashir the first, was born on 7th August 1887 CE, and he died on 4th November 1888. Hadhrat Ahmad, peace be on him, published posters on 20th February 1886, 8th April 1886 and 17th August 1887. The posters had made mention of the birth of a son who was to have very special qualities. When Bashir the first died, there was a great hue and cry from the opponents saying that the prophecy of Hadhrat Ahmad (as) about an illustrious son had been proved false, for the child about whom he thought was illustrious was no more.

Hadhrat Ahmad (as), in this address (published in the form of a poster which came to be known as the Green Poster) draws the attention of the opponents to the fact that the posters really made mention of two boys. One of them was to come to the world and go away quickly as a guest does. The other was to live a fairly long life and was to be the fulfilment of that prophecy. At the end of this poster (issued on the first day of December 1888), Hadhrat Ahmad (as) has added a note headed as 'Tabligh' (the conveyance of a message) and has invited the people to take Baiat at his hand. He expressly states that he has been commanded by God that all those who are seekers after truth should be told to take Baiat (get themselves initiated) for the acquisition of faith, piety and the love of God: they should do so to get rid of a dirty, lazy rebellious kind of life. Hadhrat Ahmad (as) invites the people to join him and he assures them that he would be sympathetic towards them and would try to lessen their burdens; he further says that God will help them through his prayers, the condition being that they should be ready, heart and soul, to act according to the divine guidance.

Re: Paak Seerat Hadhrat Masih e Maood (A.S)

**Book - Fat-hi-Islam (Victory of Islam) **

In this book (written and published in 1891 CE), Hadhrat Ahmad (as) first makes mention of the efforts that the Christians were making at that time to convert the Muslims to their own faith. He remarks that the darkness has prevailed and disorder has become the order of the day. Good deeds are derided and poisonous ideas are being infused into the minds of people. He pointedly makes mention of the teachings of Christianity, which are like mines to blow up righteousness and piety and announces to the people all over the world that he has been sent by God to counter all these evils. He asks the Muslims if they do not think that it was necessary that in such circumstances, a godly man should have come to help them and the world at large. He claims that he is the one who has been sent at the most appropriate time to correct the wrongs, to revive the religion and to establish it in the hearts of the people. As for the sacrifices that would be needed, he says that revival of Islam demands a sacrifice from us and that sacrifice is that we should give our life for it.

Hadhrat Ahmad (as) outlines his work and says that in order to reform the people, there are five things that will have to be done like five separate departments, or five branches of the main task. Those five branches

  1. To write books for publication and distribution.
  2. To issue posters and handbills.
  3. To entertain those who come to Qadian for further understanding.
  4. To write letters to the people in different parts of the world.
  5. To organise those who are initiated into the field.

To assure the people that it was essential to believe in him, he says that he who leaves him, leaves Him who has sent him, and he who joins him, joins the One Who has sent him.

He further says that he has a lamp in his hand and he who comes to him will partake of the light of that lamp but he who flees away from him because of suspicion and doubt will be thrown into the darkness. He says that he is the well-secured fort and whoever enters this fort will save his life from falling into the hands of the robbers and dacoits but he who stays away from his four walls will have to confront death from all sides and even his dead body will not be left intact. Hadhrat Ahmad (as) then makes mention of his very close followers, among them Maulvi Hakim Nur-ud-Din who, on the demise of Hadhrat Ahmad (as), became his first successor. He also mentions with great affection and admiration Sheikh Mohammad Hussain Muradabadi, Hakim Fazlud Din Bherwi and Mirza Azim Beg.

At the close of the book Hadhrat Ahmad (as) has made an announcement to the effect that all those who would like to ask any questions or who have any objections against Islam, the Holy Qur’an and the Holy Prophet (sa), or against himself (Hadhrat Ahmad (as)) or his claims or the work that he is doing, should write to him and seriously and sincerely ask for his answers. He tells them in this announcement that he will publish their questions or objections with his answers in a book form.

Re: Paak Seerat Hadhrat Masih e Maood (A.S)

*Book - Ludhiana Debate *
Ludhiana Debate took place between Hadhrat Ahmad, peace be on him, and Maulvi Abu Saeed Muhammad Hussain for twelve days starting from 20th July 1891.

On reading Fat-hi-Islam, Maulvi Muhammad Hussain wrote to Hadhrat Ahmad (as) that according to what he had written in the book it seemed that he had claimed to be the like of the Messiah who was to come according to the Holy Qur'an and the Sayings of the Holy Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him. If it was so, he should confirm it; the answer, he said, should be in a clear form of 'yes' or 'no'.

Hadhrat Ahmad (as) wrote back to say that the answer was 'yes'. Maulvi Muhammad Hussain again wrote to Hadhrat Ahmad (as) to say that he was mistaken in this claim and that he should make a retreat.
Later on, having read Tauzi-hi-Maram, Maulvi Muhammad Hussain again wrote to say that he was strengthened in his view that Hadhrat Ahmad (as) was very wrong to claim to be the like of Messiah who was to appear in the latter days.

The correspondence continued and as a result of it a debate took place between the two of them. Since the debate took place at Ludhiana, it is generally known by the name of Ludiana Debate. The subject to be discussed was the death of Jesus Christ (as). Maulvi Muhammad Hussain wanted the position of Hadith to be clarified before taking up the real subject of the debate and he harped on this clarification for all the twelve days till the debate ended without the topic of the death of Jesus Christ (as) being discussed.

Hadhrat Ahmad (as) gave clear and full-length answers to his questions about the position of Hadith but the Maulvi repeated his demand every time; he said that a clear cut reply had not been given. The stand of Hadhrat Ahmad (as) was that only such Hadith as tallied with the Holy Qur'an could be accepted. He remarked that the surest thing that the Muslims had with them was the Holy Qur'an. The Hadith could explain the Holy Qur'an but could not go against it. Maulvi Muhammad Hussain insisted on putting the Hadith at the same level as the Holy Qur'an is and asserted that whatever we find in the Hadith must be believed in and acted upon in the same way as we do to whatever we find in the Holy Qur'an.

At the end of the debate, Hadhrat Ahmad (as) drew the attention of the people by swearing in the name of Allah, the Almighty, that now the way out was that Maulvi Muhammad Hussain should pray for forty days - as he also would do - and show some heavenly sign. If he could do that, Hadhrat Ahmad (as) remarked, he would not mind being butchered with any weapon the Maulvi liked, and he would pay any fine that he would be asked to pay. Hadhrat Ahmad (as) further said, 'A Warner came to the world but the world accepted him not'. However, God will accept him and prove his truth with mighty onslaughts.
This brought the debate to an end.

Re: Paak Seerat Hadhrat Masih e Maood (A.S)

d-toxed

Honestly, mirza Sahib's arabic is hardly impressive at all, far from being miraculous. Just look at the Ahadith of Prophet pbuh and compare with the arabic writings of Mirza sahib, its obvious from Mirza Sahib's writing that he is never spoke arabic.

Dont compare Rasool e Pak SAW with anyone....he was rehmatul lil aalameen...and Hadhrat sahib (A.S) always said that he is only a servant of Holy Prophet SAW. Hence i would never even dare say that his Arabic was even compareble to Holy Prophet SAW.

But you have to acknowledge that fact that he did not have any eduction in Arabic and still he wrote so many books. I am not Arabian nor I would undersant Arabic if written in paragraphs but when ever I have spoken to people they have always praised the strength of his writings. Once we sang the Qaseeda front of an Arab whilst we were visitng his place and he liked it so much that he joined us in singing.

Have you listen to the Qaseeda Mirza sb (A.S) wrote in praise of Holy Prophet SAW...its amazing.

De-tox_ed, Why did you stop at Ludihana debate. Please add more material especially on 'Tohfa-e-Golarwia' and 'Haqeeqat-ul-wahi' but try to keep it concise and precise.:)

Re: Paak Seerat Hadhrat Masih e Maood (A.S)

chugtaai...yaar...look I can put huge amount of information and no body will ever read...but i have noticed that once in a week there is wave when everyone starts putting material against Ahmadiyya Community and when this wave arrives I put my boat in the sea as well and ask Allah for guidance. You know what I mean.

This thread was created in reply to anti Ahmadiyya material posted by Crank....if he make 1 post against Hadhrat sb (A.S) I will make 10 for in reply.
