I heard this guy tonight on five live, saying I do not agree with ICC to hold champion trophie in Pakistan, then he went on to say I grew up in Karachi, it is a very dangerous place, very very dangerous…It is not safe at all to play there.
This guy don’t know **** about Karachi or any part of Pakistan, I wonder what happened to him and what was dangerous when he grew up there to place a picture of Pakistan like this. I am sure he hasn’t been there since long long time. If he is a really a Pakistani then he should be portray a positive picture of the country or shut his mouth…
Until now I was praying for this guy every time he plays, I was always wishing him well, but today hearing him like this made me really really angry. Anyone talks bad about my motherland and thinks of himself a Gora. I hate that, can’t stand it. It hurts…Pakistan Zindabad I hope my country becomes a safe heaven for everyone. These people should stand up to terrorism and show the world and terrorists that there is no place for them, instead they run away…damn foooolssssssss..

Being born and bred in Karachi makes you an expert of the security issues? When was the last time a foreign athlete was targeted in Karachi or anywhere else in Pakistan. Crime rate in cities like NY, London, Johannesburg is higher then any city in Pakistan. You have to understand that safety can not be guaranteed at any part of the world. Heck I could be killed as I am writing this post by some maniac. And please tell me where did you get the fact that there is a suicide bombing and killing of innocent people occurring everyday?

i dont think any namazi was killed in karachi for long time ....... n i guess in last 3-4 years .. i can just recall 3 blasts in karachi ...... 2 were minors .... n 1 was at the arrival of BB

Botham said Pakistan is the country where we would send our Mother-in-laws!!!
Botham was stupid in his remarks and I think he was mentioning that in the context of the then (late 80's) turmoils.
Why have I never comes across a non-Pakistani in daily life who would mention any drawbacks in his country. Whenever you meet them in any place, they keep praising good qualities of their country, and try to avoid discussing the sensitive matters or giving their point of views regarding matters that might bring bad name to their home country.
And I find so many Pakistanis who love to wash their dirty clothes on the streets so that every foreigner might see the dirt, while hiding their good clothes from displaying to represent their own country. Shame on such people who contribute in ruining the impression of their mother land.
If they can't praise any good aspect of their **MOTHER **land then their is no need to open their mouth regarding things they are not totally aware of (in terms of current situations)
Good and bad happens everywhere, it is just that some aspects of a crime that suits the purpose of media are more highlighted and exaggerated by them regarding specific countries. But they don't need to exaggerate much about Pakistan because some Pakistanis are always ready to offer their free service as if they get a lot of "sawaab" in mentioning bad things of Pakistan and a lot of "Gunnah" for mentioning the good aspects of Pakistan.
They can do a lot good to themselves and people if they keep their mouth closed ( unless they want to gain appreciation from foreign media and people of the country they live in)
