I never said that in this thread. I said that if ex-repatriates can contribute to Pakistan's economy, why can not Pakistani living in Pakistan? What's wrong with it? I just wanted to know how this one huge foreign exchange is being utilized to make the lives of Pakistanis easy. Again what is wrong asking this simple question? If you know the answer by providing breakup, that will be fine.

Either you are claiming that Pakistanis living in Pakistan do not contribute or you are claiming that they do not contribute in an honest manner. Which one is correct?

Is it the fault of Pakistanis living in Pakistan that they either are paid much less (in foreign currency terms) for same amount of work or effort put into something or lack opportunities to make an honest living?

Is it the case that somehow Pakistanis suddenly become honest, hard-working and patriotic as soon as they step out of the country?

I really don't get the sense of superiority among expats. Philippines is half the size of Pakistan with similar economic situation and Filipino expats send double this amount home and I never find a filipino complaining about 'dishonest' or 'lazy' Filipinos 'back home'.

Being proud of your contribution is one thing, being judgmental of others is another.

As long as they contributing to country whether legally immigrant or illegal immigrant, it is a huge, honest and hard working contribution even if they lie to earn honest living. They live tough life but an honest and decent one. On the other hand Pakis living in Pakistan they even don't obey the red traffic signal. What are you talking about?

It is your prerogative whether you believe it or not. The truth is ex-expatriates contribute a lot in Pakistan's economy as compared to Pakis living in Pakistan.

^ No one is denying contribution of expats to Pakistan's economy. It is no doubt great (greater than 'back home' Pakistanis is still something you need to prove but I am not debating that).

I have problems when you generally label expats as 'honest' and 'descent' and those living in Pakistan as opposites.

No I did not say that. But I worked with dishonest deleted in the government and in the private business. Again don't argue with me on that, you know what I am talking about.

Had I be dishonest I would have never left the country.
