Erm, it was speeches, and duas being done between ishaa and taraweeh; and an extremely long speech before the wrap up dua on eid. You can’t just walk out, because they’re slipping these things in between two mandatory parts of the services, so people have to remain sitting.

The solution to a disorganized mosque is not to “donate more”.

I was referring to the use of tent. That is to accommodate large number of people with limited resources.

I do agree long speeches especially in Arabic (not so common by the way since most of speeches are in local languages) make people feel they are even longer.

Best thing s to talk with responsible people personally- No one does these things on purpose.
