what abt afridi......isnt he a good-for-nothing one-timer who gets recognition from cricketing experts all over the world...

Sourav Ganguly - The guy has some basic technical flaws. He has no moral or ethical values when it comes to captaincy or a mere sportsman.
Nasser Husain - Although a very good captain, his batting has never impressed me.
i don't know how you guys judge players cricket! Shoaib, to me is an excellent talented bowler... yes he gets hit alot but TRUST me when it comes to crowd entertainment.. Shoaib delivers it.. he an exciting bowler to watch!...
Younis Khan, a superb, non-text book player.. very few players in this world can play like him.. an excellent source of quick score in middle order, he can't hit a 100 unless u send him 1 down or 2 down but at the position he is send at he performs well
Afridi, another product of 1day - built for crowd's entertainment .. he was originally selected as a bowler NOT an ALLROUNDER! and his bowling has worked out couple of time for Pakistan.
Ganguly, (since he is an indian u can bash him :P just joking) a great batsman.. nothing wrong with his skills.. just a little to aggressive on the field.. just like our aamir sohaib was!
Virender Sehwag, technically correct batsman.. hasn't struck a big ton yet but i can tell you he has good skills waiting to be displayed..
Nasser Hussain, a good captain.. didn't get to hit tons coz he usually came 3rd down where you either try to score slowly to save wickets or you score fast if you have a good opening stand..
In my opinion all of the players, in every single team have talents that got them there on the first place. I admire cricket from all of them.

IMHO Graeme Smith is not rated at all forget about being over rated ..nobody expects him to perform miracles..nor anybody praises him..
My list of over rated cricketers would include Jacob Oram , Daryl Tuffey , Younis Khan , James Anderson and Andy Bichel as a bowler..
The most over rated player in the world today is Micheal Vaughan. Yes he is good but striking 1 or 2 centuries against Australia doesn't put you along with Hayden and Tendulkar. I saw what he was capabale of during Natwest Challenge and his technique is very limited, though he is a very good player with his bigh backlift.

Why is everybody putting James Anderson, in the list, he is not over rated. He is a very good bowler.
PS- Sehwag is not an over rated batsman either, he is unfortuante enough to have the likes of Tendi, Dravid around him, if he had been in any other team, he would definitly been there star player.

Umair Shewag is over rated because he has not lived upto his expectations or his potential. He has underperformed at international level IMO.

Michael Vaughn - One good year and he has been named captain and being compared with the likes of Lara, Sachin etc
Yousuf Yohana - I hear someone was comparing him to Miandad
Mathew Hayden - One good year and he was compared with Sir Don.
