Company of a friend is visible in the attitudes. You have been in the company of Madhaanee unkil for too long. I remember a thread by Pristine in religion forum long time ago when so many people came to bash the dude on one of his opinions and lo and behold; there was no single taunt, sarcaism, or even disrespect of anykind from Pristine in the whole thread. He even did not quote anyone to bash him/her in reply but what he does made my eyes wet. At that moment, I had respected that gentleman so much that I envy the level of Iman he had shown from his posts. I said to myself this is how Islam is preached really. I even haven’t come close to convey the message effectively and may I say Islamically. And I am aware of that. I just try what I can do.
The sad part is that such preachers don’t exist anymore… They grow up to a level where ‘holier than thou’ attitude takes over them and every now and then they paste this same label to everyone else who disagrees with them

MQ, I like that you stood up for him. I am sure he isn't feeling bullied since Faisal is obviuosly pulling his leg. Next time let him defend for himself. I'm sure neither you or him are in high school to feel attacked at a minor error :-)

AQ - Laja is the first one to point the Islamic finger at others, thought what Faisal did was cute and harmless.... so he is being teased a bit.... people only tease people they like... take it in the spirit it was given and smile and dish it back if you can :)

First of all, no one pounced on you. You just got some well-mannered (though probably unwanted) Islamic advice, which is probably the same thing you dish out at every conceivable opportunity yourself. At some point, I’d like to sit down with you, so you can explain to me your logic of defining how something becomes ok at some time and not ok at another. For the moment, it seems a case of ‘Do as I say, not as I do’ as from your response, it is not clear if you are saying that watching pictures of women is ok or not. Seems like you think it is. If thats the case, then fine.
