Why, what’s so stupid about that. I see all these black chicks with shaved heads looking so ultra cool and they say they feel ‘reborn’ and cleansed when they shave their heads.

haha. If I did that my family would have a heart attack. Heck my ammi was so upset just because I got a hair cut! For some reason everyone wants me to stick to long hair.

I think it’s quite ugly and bizarre to voluntarily shave your head but then again, you could do much much much worse in order to be “liberated” so hey whatever floats your boat

Are tattoo’s really haram though? Isnt the ink not in the skin and therefor water for wuzu can still get through?

And i think the ink from the tattoo goes deep into your skin... I'm not sure if that's the reason they're haram, but rather that ur altering the body taht Allah gave you, and in this case, piercings would also be haram. Also, i guess it falls under imitating the kaffir..

Sinead O'Connor and Demi Moore looked amazingly beautiful with shaved heads ... as did Natalie Portman at the movie premier for Star Wars. If you have a beautiful face, you will look beautiful regardless of whether your hair is down to your waist or if you have no hair at all ... these women proved that. :p
Does nobody remember how powerful and moving the video for 'Nothing Compares to you' by Sinead O'Connor was? All the video consisted of was her face with a shaved head. Very raw ... very moving ... very bold.

Demi Moore and Natalie Portman are very naturally pretty so could pull it off and get away with it, but they looked no way as near as beautiful as with longer hair.
A woman with long hair has that own beautiful and feminine appeal to it.

Hair is beautiful. Why would anyone chop it off. I have thought of a boy cut never going for the bald look though.
