Outrageous urges that must be quelled

I feel like shaving my head. I don’t even like how a bald head looks. Completely irrational but oh so compelling.

Re: Outrageous urges that must be quelled

I wanted to do that too, imagine how liberating it must feel to have no hair on your head.

Re: Outrageous urges that must be quelled

i did it last week. Ah...the summer breeze !!

Re: Outrageous urges that must be quelled

Haha I just might do it but my rukhsati is next year.

Re: Outrageous urges that must be quelled

lol - don't worry after the age of 50, your hair will start falling out anyways.

Re: Outrageous urges that must be quelled

*Ask your husband, he'll be the one looking at you. *

Re: Outrageous urges that must be quelled

He recommended I do it when we first met.

Re: Outrageous urges that must be quelled

Well if he approves, go ahead. But first I suggest you ought to Photoshop your picture to see what you would look like bald.

Re: Outrageous urges that must be quelled

You should do it and ask him to do it too......

Dont you just get bored with life and how it is passing you by. Then do something about it. Kick it up a notch. Get the bald look and go on a romantic fishing trip together on a beautiful moonlit summer night. Gleaming...silvery moonlight reflecting off your shaved heads.....ah!! the romance!!1

Re: Outrageous urges that must be quelled

Hahaha, he is growing his hair long so no shaved head for him.

Okay so tell me, how long does it take for the hair to grow back? Say if I shave it now, how much of it will be back by December this year? July next year?

Re: Outrageous urges that must be quelled

varies from people to people. Besides the hair doesnt grow at a uniformrate. Mine grows slowly for a while to about an inch in six months, and then suddenly gets a huge spurt, so much so that i have to take a weedwhacker to it after a year.

Re: Outrageous urges that must be quelled

what r u .. 15?

Re: Outrageous urges that must be quelled

^look at the thread dumass!!

Re: Outrageous urges that must be quelled

A serious question, if a woman has a shaved head is she still required to cover the head? I'm serious.

Sarah before you do anything so drastic just keep in mind that you will have to put up with the consequences for many many many months.

Re: Outrageous urges that must be quelled

Trust me, that is the stupidist thing I have heard today.

Re: Outrageous urges that must be quelled

To have a tattoo of Allah on my right arm and Mohammed on my left in Arabic as a sign of my devotion…

Too bad tattooing is haram…:bummer:

Re: Outrageous urges that must be quelled

FF - What a beautiful and thought provoking question!

 women would do anything to not cover hair. Hain jee…baaloN kau he uRRaa dau.

Re: Outrageous urges that must be quelled

Wear a hijab on your rukhsati and no one will be able to tell

Re: Outrageous urges that must be quelled

Re: Outrageous urges that must be quelled

Take it from someone who lost her hair a couple of times.... no, it is not liberating, it is humiliating. I used to have very short hair then i lost it, twice.... now i never cut it, it is almost to my butt and i don't care how hot, heavy or how much work it takes.... I'm keeping it...
