From Bano I remember there used to be a trend of naming girls on the names of novel’s heroine. Novels written by Razia Butt gave name to girls like Saiqa, Noreen, Shabana, Aneela, Beena, Naila, Najiya, Sabeen. Most of these names have now become outdated.
Haseena Moin also used to give different names to the heroines of her dramas like Sana, Zara, San’iya, Zoya, Zobariya, etc. still common
