Re: Our Saudi Vendetta!?!?!
Actually, Hajj is a souring business for Saudis. They have turned it into a business opportunity. Saudi sycophants in Pakistan are so much blinded by Saudi radical Islam that they can not see through the lie that “khadim e harmain” propagates. It’s all business, man. It’s all business.

**How the hajj has become big business for Saudi Arabia

According to Madinah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Hajj and Umrah combined, annually generates more than SR30 billion with some sources estimating around SR35 billion or $9.3 billion of total economic benefit to Saudi Arabia. To put in some perspective, $9.3 billion or 2% of Saudi Arabia’s total gross domestic product (GDP) of $470 billion may not appear very meaningful to the Saudi economy but it essentially contributes 20% of country’s non-oil GDP. Note that while oil fluctuations may significantly impact overall Saudi government revenue, religious tourism for the most part remains fairly predictable and consistent; thereby further adding to its significance from an economic standpoint. Another way to look at the Hajj opportunity is that the Saudi economy benefits by roughly $3,000 in annual revenues for every pilgrim performing the Hajj or Umrah.
Saudi Arabia’s annual revenue from organizing pilgrimage to Islamic holy places tops $30 billion, an Arab newspaper reported on Sunday.
Saudi Arabia’s revenues from pilgrimage to Islamic holy places account for about 7% of the country’s gross domestic product, Gulf News said.
the Saudi national airline, Saudi Arabian Airlines, generates 12% of its income from the pilgrimage. Fares paid by pilgrims to reach Mecca by land also generate income; as do the hotels and lodging companies that house them
