amelie - yeah i know that 1 month is waay too early for disciplining sleep habits, because most of the time it's something that is bothering the baby, and it's not just about getting attention.
for everyone's future reference, here is our magic trick :p
we put one of my shirts in the crib, and warmed up the crib with a hot bottle. then after the baby fell asleep, we took out the hot bottle, and lay her down. she could still smell me, subconciously thinking i was holding her in a warm hug...and ole' we got 3.5 hours of sleep before she woke us up!!

i'll remember this trick till i have my own baby someday inshallah
