I was never on desichat but I did use IRC for a while.......that was a totally different environment....didn't like it much....... got sick of the whole ASL scene.
pakfuse.....I think I had to go there and tell them to clean up/change the descriptions of their fora else we would have the site taken down.......I think it was them....
nope diff site, dont recall the name now, but not this one.

So now GupShup is changing their website, it means GupShup will not be same again. I hope they don't make any major changes.
I am thinking of doing something to create a similar community like GupShup.
We need to have more Pakistani communities like this one and I'm disappointed by the quality of existing communities other than GupShup.
It will not be difficult to make, we only need a free script like PhpBB or SMF and install it. It's quick and easy. The only thing requiring attention is moderation of the site.
Who agrees to this idea?????

GS has changed several times in its existence, the look and feel, the features/functions.
some thread had images of GS over the years, may have to dig it up for people to see.
In the end, the members make a community site, the usability, mods/admins/approach, and functions/features aid in making the site a place where someone wants to stay and participate. We have an excellent user base, which has changed in its make up over the years but that and the mod team makes the place what it is.
