test

I was so happy for LOTR! and Peter Jackson wore shoes!

Awesome showw!!!

And I am so happy for LOTR!!

To be nominated for 11 and win 11 is awesome... it was as if Academy is atoning for their past sins. Billy Crystal's intro video was interesting. I haven't seen the whole ceremony yet. Recorded it, so will probably see it tonight or spread over the next few nights. Some of the dresses were like "less is more".

I don't think anybody looked amazing. Like in the past, Nicole Kidman and Charlize Theron usually wear these gorgeous dresses that really accentuated their beauty. Last night, the only one who looked stunning was Catherine Zeta-Jones. I think Renee Zellwegger could have worn a more flattering dress.

I thought Julia Roberts' dress was lovely too. She looked good.

Yes Femme, you are right. I forgot about her.

LOTR just overrun every other film. Had they got another nomination they woud have broken the record of 11 oscars. Awesome project :k:

Another special mention for Tim Robbins, i have been his hige fan since Shawshank redemption days:k:

Johnny depp should have won though, he brought so much originality in his role, .. and poor Bill Murray.. that was his probably his last chance for an oscar.

Billy Crystal was hillariuos, his entry was very innovative like Faisal pointed out. and he caught Bill Murray leaving just after the best actor presentation. And after one documentary winner said some vietnam-iraq thingie, Crystal immdidaly said ‘it would be nice to know his Tax Audit’ , lol

One Billy Crystal joke which I liked was “Gigli will be the only picture, when its Director’s Cut will come out, it will be 2 hours shorter!” :hehe:

Didn't anyone note how a few of the people spoke against the war and all and even got an applause from the audience! Has everyone changed or was I just too sleepy?

Johnny was Hot in P OF C... i was so disappointed... i watched the whole thing coz of him...... he looked stunnin... man..

Was bill murray.. kiddin.. he was rollin eyes! hate that man~

and ppl.. can some1 tell those speech giver... to STOP... i mean.. enuff of thanks!!

Billy crystal was good ....

Cheers for LOTR…

I missed the last one hour of the show… I was very desprately willing Johny to win it… He did really exceptional. Mystic river was just a usual crap by eastwood… Awwww… I feel sorry for Depp. don’t worry depp… We fans are your biggest oscar.

Anyone else thinkin the same? :crying:

Billy's been good since took place over from Bob... And I was also in front of the TV just for Depp n' to some extent for LOTR.

well you will find Mystic River "a crap" if you ain't into Drama.

big woos for Sean Penn and Tim Robbins - i was rooting for them and they won!

The Game Responds:

*I made a comment in the beginning of the year about Sean Penn; about how he was never able to cement his place in Hollywood, and how his career was going no where. The man made me eat my words. To come up with two potential award winning performances(Mystic River, 21 Grams) in one year is amazing. He deserved it. People, That Is All.*

Personally speaking.. I never liked Sean Penn.. He has such a long face and it just oozes depression. Compare that to the stylish and chuckling performance of Depp in Pirates... and in my view there was no comparison.

Then again, the Academy folks give more credance to artististry blah blah... so sure.. go ahead... award Penn. I am not going to see Mystic River any more today than I was gonna watch it yesterday.
