Very sensitive subject, but before anyone gets on their high horse, i have to admit i have gay friends and they are of no harm, if anything very sensitive and caring.
however the question of adoption, i disagree totally. as muslims our understanding of homosexuality is that it is totally forbidden and condemned. the Prophet (PBUH) stated that their was a place on earth that you should not stop over at, and whilst passing through recite Astagfarulla at all times, the place.......Dead Sea....the same place Phophet Luts people perished. (people were homosexuals)
Gays are not bad people however what they do is not natural, how can it then be natural to be brought up in this "family" enviroment.
Yes i agree, the orphanages are not the place for kids, however handing them over to homosexuals to bring up is not the only answer.
if i was to die, i would not want any child of mine to be adopted by gays.
