Dear Axiom,
Pls tell me some verses of quran where today’ science is explained. And pls quote them without definitions!
May be, you do not know that Quran is very poor in geography! Any idea?

I think Buddhism has it's limits like any other religion.
I am sorry but what is the focus of the thread right now? It seems all jumbled up!
Focus of the thread is,** "Based on the available evidence all religions are man made".** Most people agree on that covertly or overtly.
"an individual can perfectly live normal life without even bothering to know all these complex origins."
Ofcourse he can. But thats what a religion is all about. If we have been created by someone, then we are supposed to live our life according to that someone's will. We are not supposed to live our life as we want to but as He wants.
"are you going to say he should be persecuted for not knowing ? "
When God wants us to live our lives according to His will and he has told what His will is then, surely we should be punished for not living our lives according to His will. If a person doesn't know, then its his own fault because he has been given the power to find out.
"there is no minimum qualification in religious theology to live on this earth"
Yes there isn't. That is because the life on this Earth is not everlasting. But to live in the life Hereafter(the everlasting life) there are some minimum qualifications. These qualifications have to be obtained in this earth
"The religious scriptures describe only the knowledge which was known or thought to be known to the man of that time. e.g. Look at Bible, Koran or Geeta. If these are truly divine books written by God, why the information depicted is limited to what was known to man of that times.
Koran and Bible have identical stories of prophets which are already folktales known in those times."
If you say this then, I suppose you have never read the Quran. I have posted these verses before, but I will post them again: Anand, I hope you will find these verses satifactory. Looking at how bad the interprettation of "SOME" people is, I am qouting them with definitions. There are above 1000 verses in the Quran related to modern science, but I can't qoute all of them. But if you still want more, just say so.Here goes:
Atronomy:
Some decades ago, scientists described the formation of the universe.I hope you have studied about the Big Bang in Physics. This was there in the Quran 1400 years ago in surah Ambiya (chapter 21 verse 30)
"Do not the unbelievers see that the heavens and the earth were joined together and We seperated them"
Now the scientists have proved the moving of the celestial bodies in space where as it was mentioned in the Quran 1400 hundered years ago: (Surah Ambiya chapter 21 verse 30)
"It is Allah who has created the night and the day, the Sun and the moon each one travelling in a orbit with its own motion" The word used in the Quran YASBAHUN (own motion) refers to the rotation of the earth in its own axis.
Hubble discovered that the universe is expanding.I hope you have heard of the Hubble's law which was proven some years ago.The Quran mentions this 1400 years ago: (Surah Dhariab chapter 51 verse 47)
"We have created the expanding universe."
Geography:- (The topic in which, according to Mr. Anand, the Quran is very weak)
Water Cycle:
Scientists had discovered the water cycle and it was said that the process is not mentioned in thw Quran. The Quran says in Surah Tariq: (chpter 86 verse 11)
"By the capacity of the heavens to return." Almost all the scholars who analyzed the verse analyzed it as "The capacity of the Heavens to retun (rain)."
Now you might ask "Why didn't Allah specifically say,the capacity to return rain.Instead Allah just said "the capacity to return"? Because Allah is All-knowing.Now we have come to know that besides returning rain it even returns the other beneficial matter and energy which is required by the human beings. Today we have come to know that it even returns waves of telecommunication,of television, of radio.Besides that it even returns the harmful rays of the outer space. For example, the ultra violet rays of the Sunlight is absorbed by the ionosphere. If this would have not been done, light on the earth would have ceased to exist. So Allah is more accurate when he says,"The capacity of the heavens to return"
But this is not all.The Quran Does describe the water cycle in great detail. In Surah Nur(24:30). In Surah Ruum(30:48). In Surah Muminoon(23:18). In Surah Ruum(30:24). In Surah Al-Hijja(15:22). In Surah Al-Araab(7:57). In Surah Furqan(25:48-49). In Surah Yaseen(36:34). (If this is weak, let me know what strong is)
Winds Impregnate The Clouds:-
"And we send the fecundating winds, then cause the rain to descend from the sky, therewith providing you with water(in abundance (15:22)
In this verse fecundate or impregnate means that the wind pushes the clouds together increasing the condensation that causes lightning and thus rain.
Embryology:
The Quran describes embryology in Surah Muminun: (chapter 23 verse 12 to 14)
"We have created the human beings from a nutfa (a minute quantity of liquid) then placed it in aqrar-e-maqeen (a place of security), then we made it into an Alaqa (a leech like substance, something which clings) then we made that Alaka into a Mudgah (a chewed like lump) then we made the Mudgah into bones, then closed the bones with flesh. Then We made it a new creature. Blessed be Allah who is the best creator."
These 3 verses describe the embryological stages in great detail. Professor Keethmore (a european proffesor) accepted Islam when he analyzed these verses because these verses perfectly described the embryological stages 1400 years ago, while modern science discovered it recently.
Pain:
In the past the scientists believed that only the brain was responsible for feeling of pain. The Quran says in Surah Nisa: (chapter 4 verse 56)
"Ask to those who reject our signs, We shall cast them in the Hell fire and as often as the skins are roasted, We shall give them new skins so that they shall feel the pain."
This verse indicates that there is something in the skin which is responsible for causing pain. Now the scientists have discovered that there are pain receptors underneath the skin which are responsible for the feeling of pain.
No sane person can say that all these things were known to man at the time when Quran was revealed. And these verses are not folk tales but scientific facts.
"Both Bible and Koran describe Adam as first man. So how one can explain findings of skulls and bone of man who have been proven to be living in caves and a missing link between monkeys and humans."
What you are referring to is called, "The Theory Of Relativity." It states that humans came into existence due to monkeys. Or in other words, monkeys are the ancestors of humans. Bear in mind that, The theory of relativity is just a theory proposed by scientists. It is not an established scientific fact. You can't say that the Quran is wrong on the basis of what the scientists think might be true. There are millions of scientists who say that this theory is completely absurd. The authority of genetical coding, Hanses Craig (I'm not sure if its the correct name) proved that the probability of one human DNA being formed by that of a monkey's DNA is zero. The Quran is also against this wrong theory.
"Why is that Koran prohbits and stresses strongly only the alcohol and not cigarettes and heroine and Marijuana specifically by name? Whay is that America is not mentioned anywhere in any divine scriptures?"
Quran prohibits, "KHAMR". It is anything that clouds the mind. Cigarettes and heroine and Marijuana all come under Khamr. The Quran mentions the past civilizations so that the People can take a lesson from them. Imagine God saying"There will be a country known as America. Learn from its mistakes and do not repeat them." How would the people, in whose time America was not made learn from America's mistakes. Besides, the Quran says that the non-Muslims will rise to power. America has risen to power hasn't it.
SETTING PLACE OF THE SUN
"When he reached the setting place of the Sun, he found it setting in a muddy spring and found a people thereabout. We said: 'O Dhul-Qarneyn! Either punish or show them kindness" Al-Kahf (18:86
In this verse, "the west" is referred to as the setting place of the Sun. The verse talks about Dhul-Qarneyn who travelled to the west(setting place of the sun). He saw the sun setting in the muddy spring, or the spring with murky water(in the translation I referred to it says spring with murky water). The spring refers to the country where he was, Mecidonia and the murky(dark, gloomy) water in the spring is referred to the wrong doers living in that country. This verse clearly indicates that the setting place of the sun is the West. You would have understood it if you read the expeditions of Dhul-Qarneyn.
HADITH:-
The Prophet asked me at Sunset, "Do you know where the Sun goes (at the time of Sunset)?" I replied, "Allah and His Apostle know better." He said, "It goes (i.e. travels) till it prostrates Itself underneath the Throne and takes the permission to rise again, and it is permitted and then (a time will come when) it will be about to prostrate itself but its prostration will not be accepted, and it will ask permission to go on its course but it will not be permitted, but it will be ordered to return whence it has come and so it will rise in the west. And that is the interpretation of the Statement of Allah: "And the Sun Runs its fixed course For a term (decreed). that is The Decree of (Allah) The Exalted in Might, The All-Knowing."
This hadith describes the appearance of the Sun. Indeed, the sun does appear to go at night and return at day. So the Prophet(SAWS) was accurate when he said that the Sun goes and returns because he was describing the appearance of the Sun not the movement of the Sun.
REFERENCES IN THE QURAN MISINTERPRETTED TO BELIEVE THAT THE EARTH IS FIXED
"We know that Sun is static in relation to Earth and moon and that earth and moon are rotating around the sun. A common belief of old times was that earth is static in relation to sun and that sun revolves around sun. This belief was held up until Galileo proved it wrong and was killed by religious authorities." Galileo was killed by Christian authorities (to be more exact) because it is against their religion. Islam is the only religion which says that the earth revolves around the sun. In the following posts I will take each verse "analyzeit" posted, one by one:
