Nah…see this is where a special “logic” must be used. Just because you have it…doesn’t mean you have to use it lol. I have eyeshadows/lipsticks/blushes that I have not used probably in over a year. But I keep them b/c there is no guarantee that I won’t want to use them in the future. 
BTW, there actually are true make-up collectors who simply buy the items and never use it. Especially high end items from Dior, Guerlain, Chanel etc…limited edition items with pretty designs. Women who literally buy to collect and never use it once.
