Opinions on this bridal entrance song

Hi guys…

Advice please…
For my bridal entrance song, I really want the song “Tujh mein rab dikhta hai” from Rab ne bana di jori…

When the flower girls come in, I want the female version to this song and when I get to the entrance door, I want it to slowly change to the main male version… I think it will look super cute!!

My only concern are the lyrics to this song…
Do you think people will get offended with the lyrics??
Would love to know what you guys think…

Thanks

Re: Opinions on this bridal entrance song

it would look super cuteeeee but u r right abt ppl getting offended hmmmm

Re: Opinions on this bridal entrance song

yeah the wording is a bit 'non-islamic' per say.. im sure u can deff. find something else :)
how abt tere naina from "from chandni chowk to china" its uber-cute! i wouldve personally chosen kaise mujhe tu milgaii from "ghajini".. haye rabba i wana have a reception :P

Re: Opinions on this bridal entrance song

...a really good question..i was listening to the song the other day and the same thought crossed my mind..!!

personally i have no problem..but i can see how it might be a problem....its a hard one lol.!!

Re: Opinions on this bridal entrance song

I think the more islamic guests of yours might be a bit offended by the lyrics .. and personally I wouldnt choose this song for an entrance solely cuz of the line "tujh mein rab dikhta hai" ..

Re: Opinions on this bridal entrance song

Thanks guys.... I was thinknig the same.... dammit.... I LOVE that song.....
Mysticalrain, i'm gonna listen to those songs you suggested tonight... can't remember the lyrics.... thank you for the suggestions!!!

I used to always want "Maula mere maula" from Anwar but that song has been done to death now....
was thinking "Teri ore" from Singh is King.... that can be my back up.....

I really want something original..... :( :(
Any other suggestions??

Thanks guys......

Re: Opinions on this bridal entrance song

how abt u just play the instrumental of tujh may rab dikhta hai ;) ???

Re: Opinions on this bridal entrance song

I cant remember the name of the film, or the song, but Kajol was blind and Aamir khan was a terrorist. Mere haath mein something something something...

I would go for instrumental of that song. I can see people getting offended.

I like Raghav’s new song, Humrahee.

Ahh that song is just BEAUTIFUL!

I def wouldnt go for tujhe mein rab dikta hain, its like my fave song of all time but i can def see some people making a issue out of it.

I recently went to a wedding were they played atif aslams pehli nazaar. At first when it came on i thought uhh? unusual choice, but when the groom held the brides hand and helped her onto the stage it was just like awwww, lyrics are fab.

Theres another song, which im def using when i get married, heres the link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AuiwkH4eaes)
its called tera mera pyar, kumar sanu.

Re: Opinions on this bridal entrance song

i think both the versions are awesome.. if people get offended, let them.. it's not like most of them are even paying attention to the lyrics.. they are too busy checking out the bride, her makeup, clothes and jewelry.

^ I agree! Daddy's Girl this really is u're best answer! If YOU love it.. go for it! YOUR wedding YOUR way

MILLY I think your talking about Fanaa....... beautiful song!

Re: Opinions on this bridal entrance song

DG, I wanted the same exact song for my walk-in. The only problem is I know Im going to offend people with it. My relatives already made a few comments about how shirk-type it is. So, I probably wont do it and have resumed my search for a walk-in song.

One option is Tera Chehra by Adnan Sami

 The Raghav song is so nice.

I like that Tera mera pyar song too. The lyrics to that is lovely and when I get married (if I do), it will feature somewhere:cb:

*Listen to Tera Pyar by Alyssia…lovely song.

Re: Opinions on this bridal entrance song

hey daddysgirl...i was doing the same song for my walk in and just today my fiance says to pick something else cause of the same thing ur saying the "tuhj mein rab dihkta hai" but i think he was just kidding .. do wht u want its ur wedding!!!!
good luck =) were in the same boat

fanaa and that is a really nice one

last summer i was so sick of that song from atif aslam teri nazar i think? he keeps saying baby i love you, YUCK it made me sick.

old is gold as well so look back on a song that will always be a top hit that way when you hear it at weddings in teh future you can have that nice little moment rather than a trendy new song that will soon fade in years to come. that’s just my thought.

i really like MAULA MERE from ANWAR:
