hey guys, i picked out my engagement outfit…heres a picture of it…im getting it stitched exactly the same way…the party is gonna be in a hall..so kind of big…wanted your honest opinions on the outfit! what kind of jewelry etc would look good with it as well? thanks!

Its really nice!!! im sure ull look amazing! I would wear a simple gold necklace with nice earrings and a simple tikka.

it's gorgeous! I love her makeup too - it looks so simple and beautiful!
She is covering her top with hand so can't tell how big the neck cut is... if it's too low, it might not be suitable for a wedding... it's okay for fashion catalog.
However it is - it's simply gorgeous.

yeah the neck is really big...its not gonna be that big...and the sleeves are gonna be short sleeves...i just hope the color comes out right!

It's a lovely outfit. If it was my engagement, I would have aquired less work on the lehnga..but anyways..for jewelry, like desigirl786 has suggested, a very light/delicate set with sapphire/turqouis stones would look really nice... and congratulations! :)

ok i figured it out it’s deepak perwani i have to say the outfit is a few years old but lovely and something i myself have always adored
jewelry wise i’d keep it simple, show off your collar bones and go for a dainty necklace and elborate earrings. makeup wise i’d use sheer pigments on the eyes not a heavy bold color of that blue green but a sheer wash over the eyes and a goldish greenish tone on the lid. and a pale pink lip, done eyelashes but not a thick line either.

its gorgeous.. but i think way too heavy for it to be an engagement outfit.. maybe go easy on the work on the lehnga? maybe have a heavy hemline for the lehnga and then sparse work all over the lehnga?
for jewellary.. again, go delicate.

I adore the outfit but it is a bit heavy for an engagement and what Khawateen said is right. Whatever you wear now, you will have to top it at the wedding.
Since the outfit is heavily worked and the occasion is an engagement it wud be best to "play-down" the outfit with minimal jewellery.. perhaps just antique gold/frosted gold earrings?
