Burqa thats why I said you should get out more often.... Air superiority alone has never achieved any objectives in an asymmetric warfare... As a matter of fact in an inhospitable and unforgiving terrain like the mountains of Afghanistan or jungles of Vietnam/N. Korea did not bring any success dispite US having overwhelming air supperiority. Nor did the jewish state achieved its objectives against Hizbullah nor did the red army against rag tag Afghan mujhadeen.
Seven years and counting want to bet in the end US will give it a spin and will be out of Afghanistan, like its cronies are talking about right now??? According to the western media Talib/Pashtoons are gaining more and more control of Afghanistan every day, that should speak volumes.
The sole reason US has lasted that long in Afghanistan is because of the drug pushers from the north. Without their support US would do what it has done all along, fire few cruise missiles and call it a success.
