In *1932](1932 - Wikipedia), the then ruling King of Iraq](Iraq - Wikipedia), Shah Faisal](Faisal of Saudi Arabia - Wikipedia) dreamt that he was being addressed by *Hudhayfah ibn al-Yaman](Hudhayfah ibn al-Yaman - Wikipedia), who said "O King! Remove Jabir ibn Abdullah Ansari and me from the bank of river Tigris and bury us at some safe place because my grave is already filled with water while Jabir’s grave is collecting water slowly. That year, a large number of Muslims and non-Muslims, along with the King, Grand Mufti, Prime Minister, and Prince Farooq of Egypt were there for the opening of graves of both trusted companions of Muhammad. Both of the bodies were said to be fresh and intact …
Furthermore, their coffins, clothes, and kaffan were also intact and at first glance, it appeared as if they were alive. The two bodies were then taken away and buried afresh near the grave of *Salman al-Farsi](Salman the Persian - Wikipedia), in Salman Park, which is 30 miles from *Baghdad](Baghdad - Wikipedia).
Y did'nt these Sahabas ask God to take care of water problem. Why did they ask King. They are supposed to call God for help.
True, but when Allah wants to TEST a muslim he tests him in many ways and does the work by making him the source of it. This might also be a test.
Each and everything happens with the will and permission of Allah but this world is a test for all human beings so Allah gives opportunities to people to test their sincerity and how much they are willing to please Allah. The end result still happens the way Allah wants.
Hudhayfah [r.a]was called *The Keeper of the Secret of the Messenger of Allah *and it was believed that Hazrat Muhammad( P.B.U.H) have told him the names of Munafiqs / hypocrites among muslims . Therefore If Hudhayfah[r.a] did not attend funeral of any muslim , Umar[r.a] refrained from performing as well .

Hazrat Hudhayfah [r.a] once said that in the time of the Khilafat of Hazrat Umar (r.a) he once called me and asked me if there were any Munafiqs / hypocrites among the Governors I have appointed. I told him that there is only one. Hazrat Umar (r.a) asked me "Who is he ?" I told him that I shouldnot point him out.
Hazrat Hudhayfah [r.a] then said that within/after a week Hazrat Umar (r.a) removed one of the Governor from his post. And he was the same person which I had in mind.
