So has mine but I never asked or expected him to and I know it doesn’t last forever.. I’m expected to handle money responsibly and with the helping hand I’ve been given when I move out I’ll be expected to stand on my own two feet.. and I wouldn’t have it any other way 
No matter how much money a person’s family has, there’s not a guarantee that they’ll always be looked after or pampered.. Arguments, recession, there are so many things that could happen, it’s a bit naive to think u’d never have to worry about things.. and I don’t mean just the average person on the street, same goes for ppl whose parents are millionaires..
