well there's really no pro of dating without your parents approval, even if religiously dating 'was' allowed. it'd just be difficult to maintain a relationship whilst knowing your parents have no idea. although i guess you could get less of the interference in your personal matters if you kept them out of the loop..

When it comes to marrying yes, it SHOULD be upto to the kids, not the parents. Maa baap ne to nahi karni shaadi na ladki ya ladkay se, unnhon ne karni hai na aik dossray se. Simple.

If it leads to a good shaadi then its all good, if it doesnt lead to a good shaddi then its the couples' right to make their own mistake. Not anyone else's right to pokoe their nose and interfere.
Simple, parents or anyone make their concerns known to the kids. Kids should take those onboard but after that it should be primarily THEIR decision. THEY are the ones marrying each other. Saray khaandaan ki shaadi nahi ho rahi rahi uun se.

If they marry from their own choice then no they can't then cry. They should have that courage to solve it. but I highly doubt their parents would willingly sit back no matter what the kids did.
