JJ was maliciously cornered by lobbies and nobody seemed to post something vocal/visual in his favour and that's when I decided to post this. The video is from siasipakistani production and not from bitter.
Did you see mufti naeem's video of jamia binoria? It was in JJ's favor

I am glad that he stood for the poor fellow. JJ definitely needed support of the sane ones out there. I was amazed and disappointed to see how violent/provocative some mullah came out on this issue specially Mr Shah Qadri - Chief of Faizaan-e-Alahazrat who called for JJ's killing and then another one who does programs on TV ( Aamir Liaqat ) said that JJ is wajib al qatal.
Pakistan has become a Mob and a very dangerous place to live. Blasphemy law has become a Joke.
Re: Open Challenge to those who have accused Junaid Jamshed of Blasphemy
Pakistani media is silent over the issue
They can only talk about politicians
Army , ISI , Mulla , Malik Riaz , Taji Khokhar are not in their list
Even MQM is only a holy name for them
Re: Open Challenge to those who have accused Junaid Jamshed of Blasphemy
"Moderates" should come out to support other poor people accused of blasphemy as well.
Re: Open Challenge to those who have accused Junaid Jamshed of Blasphemy
First of all, Blasphemy law is against Islam. No one can enforce love and respect for themselves or for anyone, and Islam recognizes that. If anyone or any community tries to enforce love and respect than it only create terror and fear without love and respect, and always backfires. Thus, in a Muslim society, such enforcement should be prosecuted, as those enforcing are harming not only name of Islam but also personalities they believe they are defending. In Quran, there is ayah that says that a person when seeing blasphemy happening, should move away rather than get involved in any way, and those who get involved are same as one who do blasphemy (they are kafir or munafiq), and those who persecute in the name of blasphemy, get involved.
Secondly, people who are using Blasphemy law to persecute others in Pakistan, they are mentally retard. But then, as things are, everything seems fair in Pakistan when accusing someone for Blasphemy.
When I think of it, I remember a teenage girl of ‘class 8’ (probably 14 year old) getting accused of Blasphemy when in class she wrote Naat in Urdu … and as the words was written and read … the teacher started reading it as Laanat … both words when written in Urdu (or Arabic) has little difference … and then whole community of retards started persecution the girl, demanding her death.
Girl accused of blasphemy for a spelling error – The Express Tribune
**ABBOTTABAD: **It may have been a mere misplaced dot that led to accusations of blasphemy against a Christian eighth-grader, whose miniscule error led to her expulsion from school and uproar amongst local religious leaders.****Faryal Bhatti, a student at the Sir Syed Girls High School in Pakistan Ordnance Factories (POF) colony Havelian, erroneously misspelt a word in an Urdu exam while answering a question on a poem written in praise of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). The word in question was ‘laanat’ instead of ‘naat’ – an easy error for a child to make, as the written versions of the words are similar.
According to the school administration and religious leaders who took great exception to the hapless student’s mistake, the error is ‘serious’ enough to fall within the realm of blasphemy, Saturday.
**
Spelling out her punishment**
On Thursday, Faryal’s Urdu teacher was collecting the answer sheets from her students when she noticed the apparently offensive word on her pupil’s sheet. The teacher, Fareeda Bibi, reportedly summoned the Christian girl, scolded her and beat her. Her punishment, however, did not end here. When Faryal’s class fellows learnt of the alleged blasphemy, the teacher brought the principal’s notice to the matter, who further informed the school management.
In the meanwhile, the news spread throughout the colony. The next day, male students of the POF colony school as well as certain religious elements took out a rally, demanding the registration of a criminal case against the eighth-grader and her expulsion from the area.
Prayer leaders within the community also condemned the incident in their Friday sermons, asking the colony’s administration to not only take action against Faryal but her entire family. In the wake of the increasing tensions, Managing Director POF Colony Havelian Asif Siddiki called a meeting of colony-based ulemas and school teachers to discuss the situation. The girl and her mother were asked to appear before the meeting, where they explained that it was a mere error, caused by a resemblance between the two words. The two immediately apologised, adding that Faryal had no malicious intentions.
In a move that was apparently meant to pacify the religious elements clamouring for action against the teenage ‘blasphemer’, the POF administration expelled her from the school on Saturday. Faryal was not the only one who got in trouble for her spelling error, however, as her mother, Sarafeen Bhatti, who was a staff nurse at the POF Hospital Havelian for several years, was immediately transferred to POF Wah Cantonment Hospital.
**
Decision applauded**
While talking to The Express Tribune, Maulana Alla Dita Khateeb of Gol Masjid praised the decision of the POF colony administration, claiming that he had personally seen the answer sheet in question. He further went on to say that he had met the girl himself, who had apologised for the word used in error. Asked whether the incident still fell within the realm of blasphemy and whether Faryal deserved expulsion when she had misspelt the word unintentionally, Khateeb said that although he was unclear about the intentions of the girl, the word she had used was sacrilegious.
The managing director of POF Colony was not available for comment.

Re: Open Challenge to those who have accused Junaid Jamshed of Blasphemy
Strangely many people are supporting JJ are quiet on others who might have been involved wrongly (since they were non Muslims). This law would come to bite even those who are its ardent supporters.
Re: Open Challenge to those who have accused Junaid Jamshed of Blasphemy
The problem with this law is that it puts burden of proof on an accused & accused person must proof his/her innocence when under normal principle of justice burden of proof is always on a state. Here people are confusing sin with crime & mixed it up with sects based religious dogma which can be a deadly combo. Personally, I'm happy that mullahs are going after each using this law as stick to beat up each other, but I have problem when they use to go after innocent people like the christian couples killed few days back.

Re: Open Challenge to those who have accused Junaid Jamshed of Blasphemy
what a joke our country is..fatwa and then anti fatwa and then anti anti fatwa. most of these mullahs are completely jahil and have no sense of tolerance.
this is what happens when you want to have an islamic republic of pakistan...when you want religion to drive your society, jurisprudence and govt. There is no one fiqa and everyone believes his fiqa to be the right one. that will right away distribute common people by sects
slowly but gradually mullahs and their likes will gain more and more prominence, society will get more and more brutal and less tolerant.
every paksiatni should stand up for a secular pakistan...a pakistan where religion has nothing to do with govt or jurisprudence. lets drive religion out of our govt. lets finish these joke islaimic sharia courts.
religion has a place but only in our personal lives ... not in our society. tell me one country which is based on religious values and driven by religious curriculam and it is successful and people want to move there? not even one....saudi, iran, Israel, sudan, pakisstan, afghanistan under taliban....all of them are full of hatred with terror, blood, congestion and disgust
NO to Islamic republic of Pakistan
YES to secular repulbic of Pakistan
Re: Open Challenge to those who have accused Junaid Jamshed of Blasphemy
Yes religion should be a private matter not a state matter.
Any way I think JJ was an idioth for saying such a thing but his apology was with his heart! he was literally crying, we in islam believe in forgivness... so peole should let it go and let out those poor souls who are in prision for these laws.
