ahmed is saying that pious non muslims will go to heaven also..that doesnt make sense to me..non muslim is a person who either doesnt believe in One god "Allah" and or he doesnt believe that Prophet Mohummad is the last Prophet..so how can such person go to heaven?

why decide who will go to hell and who wont when it is up to the LORD Himself!
Secondly, stop worrying about it....live your life according to the guidlines of the QURAN and HADITH's and you're promised a spot in HEAVEN!!!

Sherazz there can be people who donot fit the criterea you have mentioned.Scholars of Islam have agreed that non-muslims who are pious can-not necessarily will-go to heaven.Infact it is likely that they will not.But there are people who have good nature and beleive in 'the one above' etc.But these are not muslims for some reason.Such people can go to heaven.The numbers of such people can be really small or non-existant at any given time but it is possible.I believe there are people who lived after Prophet Mohammad's(pbuh)time did not follow his shriat but will still go to heaven.

Fair enough, if the Quran says she will go there then she will, but we dont know how merciful God is, therefore they may call her to heaven
But we may also call her to hell Never doubt Allah!

I'll answer this one for u ahmed. It is a wall, between heaven and hell. Hell is for the people that do shirkh and heaven is for muslims. so what bout christians?? They don't do shrikh so like all muslims end up in heaven, hindus in hell and christians in al araf. (i am not judgeing who goes to hell or heaven. just saying)

Actually it is a Sura!
Sura al-araf of the heights
there are two explinations for this!
this is a wall where all the prophets and great men will be coz it is high and close to allah!
this wall is made for the people who have done good all thier life(not kafir)and came into this world after our prophet! So this wall is for them! It is not as bad as hell and not as good as heaven it is in between!
now both of them are from sunni and shia scolars so it is up to you to belive which is right(allah knows)
here is an ayat to prove my point!
al-araf 7:46
and between the two shall be a veil, and on the heights shall be men who know them all by thier marks, and the shall call out to the inmaters of the garden:"peace be upon you" they shall not have entered it yet but hoping to do so.
