Hypothetically speaking lets say a friend of yours is a closet lesbian and she loves you secretly and one day she tells you that she loves you. You smile and laugh and lightly brush it aside and tell her to not be silly. Then from that day she becomes possessive and bitter. She gets jealous etc.
How will you deal with the situation? Just ignore her and totally cut off all ties/communication or reason with her etc?

Firstly are you a lesbian yourself? Cause if your not, then you can just politely tell her your not into girls, but if you are, then you can say you don't want to risk the friendship you share etc, if she is still persistent, you don't have an option but to ignore her for a while. She'll be pissed off that you're ignoring her, but once things cool down and she's got another gf, then you can tell her, she scared you. Or maybe you can tell her, that her possessive-ness is scaring you and you can't handle it. Goodluck!

Just treat her like a guy you don't like, instead its a girl :S But just treat her the same way. You know how you become friends with some guys and they fall in love with you, so you have to ignore them, cause you dont feel anything for them. Do the same thing.
